We just go and win our next game, then move on to the next game after that.

It's all we can do - why on earth worry about things that are out of your control - like what other teams are doing.

It's Norwich up next in the league but we have a very important game before that v Reading which I want to enjoy before thinking about Norwich.

Surely if one of the top seven wins the FA Cup then 8th place qualifies for Europe presuming Man City's ban is upheld.

Regardless of whether Man City's ban is upheld or not, the fact that Villa didn't win today means that one more European place is available in the PL

I think Leicester know they won’t be finishing any higher than they are , and wouldn’t surprise me if they went for the FA cup big time now

Yes, provided Man City don't get a reprieve.

Still there are teams capable of winning it lower down in the leagues. Arsenal, Newcastle, Norwich and West Brom - though the last two will certainly be prioritising the league. Newcastle are only 5 points off a relegation spot too.

If the winner of Europa was Wolves for example, then Wolves would go through automatically if they occupied 1st to 7th/8th, it would go to the next spot in the league.

Looking at the FA Cup draw - barring upsets the quarter finals could easily consist of six teams currently in the top eight of the PL (including us). By the semi final stage all four teams could be in the top eight. That isn't to say that e.g. Spurs may drop out of the top eight, or Arsenal will move up.

Indeed.

And, who would have thought that, at the beginning of March, there are only 6 teams in the Premier League who have a ‘Top 4’ finish ‘in their own hands’, and that United would be one of them?

Aside from those currently occupying the top 4 positions, only United (by winning their remaining games which include Chelsea at home) and Wolves (by winning their remaining games which include United and Chelsea away), are in control of their own destiny.

The also-rans, such as Man U, Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham, are all now reliant on other results going for them; ‘Top 4’ is out of their control.

We aren't going to win our remaining 11 games. I'm confident in saying no team in the league will do that.

As fantastic as this season has been it's utterly silly to look at it like that.

Twists and turns and who knows. Realistically whatever happens now, all concerned deserve huge praise.
