Pfffff, they get that for a behind closed doors friendly against Matlock Town, it' a mararcana 120,000 minimum for every game, pig told me, and he has a lifelong season ticket at the shallow end.

I think your right we have probably had higher average attendances in the thirties or possibly 40 s but the difference in capacity was massive55 K +.there were low attendances in those days ( but not from memory ) the high's pumped up the average.

Urm no its not going to be! We have done it before, are you on deludamol? Our season (the first Premier season) we averaged over 30k fans. Are you a pig??????

You could have 28k one week and 32k the next. That's 30k average. Not 30k every week.

That's basically the same as us. 6 30,000+ averages between 1948 and 1954, and two others, in 1972 and 2007.

You'll find that's the same for many clubs, actually, due to the Post War attendance boom and many teams having larger capacity than now. the all time high on crowds was in 1948-9.

What's odd about the Pigs is that when crowds were at a post war low in 1985-6 they were averaging more than they are now - that's very unusual. Virtually every team in the League has bigger average attendance now than 35 years ago.
