BS. My pig mate says they get over 50k every home game.
No Surely there are some games when they get 100k like against the big teams like......................Sheffield United !

Good turn out from Bornmuff though. Backed their team until our second went in but generally decent backing from then when all considered.

I'd be excited it the Blades were at the top table and we'd cheated to get there.

Actually I wouldn't, I'd be embarrassed

Urm no its not going to be! We have done it before, are you on deludamol? Our season (the first Premier season) we averaged over 30k fans. Are you a pig??????
Read the message dummy. Nothing to do with average, just that EVERY crowd will be over 30000. Never been done in Sheffield.

apologies if I was rude or inappropriate by the way Sir!
Mean EVERY attendance will be over 30000. Nuffin to do with averages.

Just to give you blokes a point of reference, so you can continue your argument, 92/93 first prem season.

That just turned me off pal

Sitting on the kop and looking at the south stand there were a lot of unoccupied seats, season ticket holders I presume,I reckon there was less than 30k in the ground today but delighted that we had an official crowd of over 30k, we are on for an over 30k average this season which is brilliant

The BLUT looked fairly full always a good indication of the crowd that pay on the day it would seem quite a few ST holders stayed home due to the weather and cancelled transport.

Empty seats could be for various reasons. In Trig Jnr (TY)’s case, coming back from London, he was at King’s Cross for 0830. The first available train was at 1030 and I’m unsure of the detail of the journey, but it was curtailed at Retford and he ended up getting a taxi to Sheffield and that got him home at about 1600. He has to go past BDTBL, so he probably had the additional irritation of getting caught up in traffic from a match he couldn’t get to.

On the basis that I already knew he wouldn’t make it, I decided not to make the routinely miserable journey over the Snake Pass, using the logic that it was unlikely to be more fun than usual and I wouldn’t see him when I got there.

That’s two unoccupied seats and he was on a train with a few Bournemouth fans who gaveup at Retford and went back to London, so definitely a few more, on the away end.

I was one of thousands who missed kick off
due to turnstiles on Bramall lane not being used due to dangerous state of copthorne roof.missed first 20 minutes ( didnt miss much by all accounts) there were plenty behind me who would have missed a lot more of the match.
Great 3 points though.

Yep.

At various stages my son was on the 10.25, 11.25 and 12.25 trains from Hull and still didn't make it in time for the game.

An empty seat on the kop

Sorry to piss on everyone’s bonfire but there was probably less than 25,000 in attendance today.
