We now have a vested interest in the Euros with Ireland, Scotland and Norway in the remaining qualifier fixtures. That's over half the 1st team potentially involved.

Thoughts? Would you like to see as many Blades as possible there? or keep em at home away from injuries?

Get them there and raise the club’s profile. Always a danger they then get poached but with a decent Euro’s and us being in the top division it’ll be for top dollar.

Never understood why anyone wouldn’t want our players to represent their countries it raises our profile plus it means they are half decent players apart from the like of Ahmed fathi who was rubbish

ROI - Egan, Stevens, Robinson, McGoldrick

Bosnia - Besic (Have they still got a chance?)

Scotland - Fleck, McBurnie

Norway - Berge

England - Henderson

Giorgiou Baldockis will be plying his trade for the Grecians. By which I mean Greece, not Exeter City. Wait, are Greece at the euros? Are Exeter City? What day is it again?
Doubt Greece will be there, if we're not in Europe anymore, then they will have lost 60% of the country's yearly income, that has been coming straight out of our pockets for the past 10years, so the country might not actually exist by then.

Really don’t want Norway at the Euros. If Berge is a stand out player he’ll be gone before he’s learnt to speak proper Sheffield.
it's a worry for sure... also coming up against England in the group stage if they get through, he will be on a podium for the world to see. One standout game and who's to say the big european clubs won't come calling

As Norway would be in England’s group, I don’t want to face them as look like they could be tricky opposition. Hopefully Israel will somehow scrape through.

Only one player from Norway so I’d prefer them to qualify albeit he is our record signing so... tough choice but I’d certainly not want Ireland to qualify, Egan too important

Are they banning Brits then?

Sorted that for you pal.

"Baldock, JoC and Hendo"

not sure about that mate. Baldock having a good year but behind a massive line of better players if he wants to play international he should for greece. Walker is starting for city at RB and still not at the front of the line. It's probably our strongest position unit.

I’m off to Wembley for the England games ... love to see our players both for us (Hendo ?) and any opposition. So many deserve it and I’d be proud as punch!

I've been following England Home & Away since the early 80s. I find it very very easy to compartmentalise supporting my Club & my Country. If a Utd player is playing for another country, against England, then of course I want him to play badly, be run ragged & lose. The only example I can easily recall would be Evans when he came on as Sub for Wales in Cardiff. I boooooed him to the rafters, as he was playing (that day) against my team. I'm used to arguments along the lines of - oooohhhh I support The Blades, it's The Blades, and only The Blades for me. Yeah, OK Big Blade. But it's not like I need to choose. No matter how far Knill & the other one take us, I don't think Utd will qualify for The EUROs. Club football - Sheffield United FC. International football - England. And, the non-football-fan argument - oooohhhh I don't know how you can support England, they're dogshit. Yeah mate, just like Sheffield United have been in the past. I'm a football fan, support my team through thick, but mainly thin. So, I'll have a passing interest in Blades playing for other countries. But, of course I'll want them to fail at the expense of my team, England.

Just went to the Guardian's Euros guide to see the write up on the Blades contingent and found this...

Its not John, its certainly not Jimmy... which version is this one??

Moose, JOC, Baldock all being touted last season, how the mighty have fallen.
Agree with JOC and maybe Baldock, but with all due respect, Mousse hadnt a prayer competing with:

Mbappe, Griezman, Giroud, Benzema, Dembele, Coman, Ben Yedder, Fekir or Lacazette...

Maybe if he kept up his form he would’ve been 8th/9th choice at best, any chance of him turning out for France is gone now though
