And he said, oh!
I've come to play for Chris Wilder,
He's the man, he's the future.
Ignore Garth Crooks, he's a w*nker
You'd better run you'd better take cover.

"With Fleck and Norwood in the centre" is a more positive 4th line in hindsight.

Hello again,

As said in the Trossard topic before........ Sander Berge is the brightest gem in our collection.

We've seen a lot of talent in the previous years, most of them now top players. Sander is topshelf. He's a future captain in a big club in a big league. Some players have that something extra, De Bruyne had it, Courtois had it, Milinkovic-Savic and Koulibaly had it. Berge has it too.

If I could I would bet on it. He was the successor of Wilfred Ndiddi who isn't preforming bad (to say the least) in Leicester, Berge is even better much better.

I'm sorry but I don't think he will choose Brighton. He's aiming higher or he will stay in Genk until a better chance comes along. Nothing against Brighton, cheering for you now Leandro is playing for you guys but Sander is just another level

great news about berge. cant say know much about him, but then did know who mousset was in july. or quite a few players that turned out to be very good. i just hope hes as good people say he is as 1 of most talented players in the Europe. if this goes well this could be easy 60/70m player in future

mad that we spent £22m on player. it was only 9mths ago we spend £50m in 30yrs + our top 5 expensive signings where James Beattie, John Egan, Matt Kilgallon, Ched Evans & Claude Davis

The fee was undisclosed but I thought it was at least £2m.
thats probably correct. i might be mixing up, upfront & total fee.

but still less than Claude Davis. which considering the contrasting talents is quite funny in itself

Wilder said in an interview at the end of the season that Norwood’s fee was £1.2m and that Egan was £3.5m.

Does the program seller know how to shout....
"Get yer programs.....3 quid....only 3 quid, get yer programs here... 3 quid....",
In Norwegian....
That's the important bit...

Trust Billy Sharp to solve our Sander Berge chant conundrum.

Heeeeee's Norwegian,
He plays for the Blades with John Egan,
We're playing in Europe next season,
It's Saaaander Berge..

Heeeeee's Norwegian,
Norwood & Fleck are the reason,
We're playing in Europe next season,
It's Saaaander Berge!

Genius. Ignoring the fact its pronounced Burger, this is the winner. I've had a change of heart, it kind of makes it funnier that we're pronouncing it wrong.

Sing it loud at Palace lads!

What a statement of intent.
just miss out the 'It's .................Saaander Berg'eh

Probably Pittsmoor Owl. He was on YouTube at one point pretending to be a Man City fan who had a soft spot for Wednesday and used to comment how much the PL missed them everywhere. Then a couple of weeks later he obviously forgot this incredible subterfuge and changed his profile pic to John Sheridan.

They’ve just played this Sander Berge song on Talksport saying it was sang by Billy Shsrp...
they liked it with Ally McCoist and Neil Warnock said some nice words about Billy Sharp.

I’ve noticed over the months...so it’s not coincedance....that whenever the panel talk about/ praising Sheff Utd....
Alan Brazil ALWAYS stays quiet...he never makes a single comment about us.....in fact he’s dismissive and quickly changes the subject when anyone on the panel praises us. Where as whenever the conversation moves to Leeds United....he always buts in and says they are the best team in the Championship, Bielsa is the godfather of tactics and how he’d love to see Leeds back in the PL....then he tells stories about Billy Bremner/ Norman Hunter etc

It sounds much better ending Berge instead of Burger.

Also it’s kind of comical to deliberately pronounce his name wrong.
Sander himself said its Burger but it’s fine to call him Berge.

I’m glad you’ve noticed this about Brazil, always changes the subject immediately we are mentioned.

Alan, it’s your job to report & pass comments on the facts, not to let personal bias interfere.

Unfortunately he has a name that you have to sort of set yourself for if you're not Norwegian.

Sounds more like Bag o' (nuts) than Burger.

Thought it was funny though in the pronunciation video, think it's Kevin Cookson, Sander "Baahgah", Cookson "Burrrrrger"

it is not Burger. There is no r at the end, regardless of how subtly pronounced that r is.
berg-ay is a pronounciation that will be an anglolification of his name that everyone is fine with.

G is hard, ending E is pronounced, R at the end is not present.

for a correct Norwegian pronounciation the first E is like the A in Bad. The ending E is an "eh" sound - but noone from Norway really cares. Bergay is fine. just no soft g . or for a more correct version. Like the city of Bergen without the N at the end

We’re on our turf now, so as much as I love him:

ITS BERGE AS IN BURGE OR AT A PUSH BERG
