As a Norwegian curious to see how the Berge news is being received by Utd fans, this thread has made my day.
Usually when scouting forums, especially among larger clubs, it is a cesspool of pure venom and ill intentions.
Here the venom flows just as heavily, but is intriguingly coated with a Monthy Python'esque dripping sarcasm and a self irony that is hilarious - and very likeable.
Oh and the venom here probably stems from all the proclaimed wanking that has been going on as speculations grew into rumours and then into confirmed deal.

Congratulations on a great signing - and my main reason for dropping a note here was to beg you to continue this tone in the forum, even asyou may be growing into a club with greater resources - and hopefully greater success..

I've been saying it a few times and I think the club should put our a PSA, the easiest way to get close is to say "Baguette" and chop the 'tte" off.

Better than Burger anyway.

Think he'll be in for Lunny, but will move central to let Norwood be subbed more if he needs to be.

Can see it being Berge - Norwood - Fleck, Norwood gets a yellow in the 35th minute, and Lunny or Mo come on for Norwood and Berge goes in the middle.

What a lovely way to introduce yourself sir, hang around as much as you like...one or two Norwegian followers make an occasional trip over to watch us so you would be in good company and welcomed to the lane.
 
This has already been said many times over today but this truly is a phenomenal signing! Hopefully Sander will be with us for some years to come but this guy is destined for the top of football in the future - Madrid, Barca, etc.

Watched him many times in the past via live streaming on bet365, big stong quick defensive midfielder who has a great eye for a good pass as well.

Im still shocked we've made this signing, never thought id see something like this in all the years ive been following United... well done to Chris and the board.

Onwards and upwards!

Mate when you’ve had Conor Sammon as your marquee signing in a transfer window in recent memory you develop a sense of humour, believe me. 😂😳
