Is there any possibility of experimenting next season and putting them elsewhere? I appreciate they need a min 3,000 allocation and that fits quite nicely into that lower tier where they have been located for the last 3 seasons but it is painful watching players score last minute winners and running straight into the away end. I appreciate where they are located now may help the atmosphere between both sets of fans but at the same time it might help encourage them to do well if they are kicking that way 2nd half.

Is there any possibility of putting them in the Westfield corner a bit out of the way and giving us both ends? A bit like Cardiff or Chelsea. Even if they have to encroach a bit into the upper tier of Bramall lane I think this would further help improve the noise from our fans (who have been incredible at making noise this season to be fair).

Just food for thought, by all means tell me if I've talking complete b*llocks, what do people think?

I’m sure South Yorkshire’s finest would relish the task of trying to separate blades fans and Liverpool/Chelsea/Spurs fans on the upper tier

Upper tier and corner is a much better view so better to give it to home fans. Anywhere else causes far too many segregation issues so I don't think this one has legs.

For FA cup games they could go on the Kop though?!

As others have said, the upper tier is a much better view and would only add more issues around segregation. The Cherry Street end of the corner sits just about H block - I can see United fans just higher up from where my seat is. If it was away fans they could easily throw things down - or you'd need a line of stewards there.

Moving the away fans elsewhere would also lower the working ground capacity as there would need to be increased segregation.
Capacity would reduce from 32K down to between 31K and 31.5K with less tickets for home fans.

Also at the moment we have been given special permission (on safety grounds) by the PL to only give away fans just over 2,800 tickets, instead of the normal 3000.
If we moved away fans elsewhere then they’d have to be given the full 3000 seats.

It's absolutely wank. It's the best option to keep the away fans there. Not perfect, but better than any alternatives.

We then need to improve the use of BLUT from a ST availability point of view.

I sat in the BLLT for the Chesterfield game when we celebrated the League One title and I thought the view was excellent and closer to the pitch and preferred it to the BLUT. You could put them in the BLUT instead. There's often empty seats on the wing of the BLUT.

There's around 5,000 seats in the upper tier including the corner. The design when refurbishing means it's easy to segregate. Whatever seats are lost up there will be gained in the south or JSS as no seating will need covering.

But... the views better up there and we can only charge away fans 30 quid. Might as well give them the shit view.

Stick in the Pukka corner, they can spit on the kop then.

Love a post from a random thought popping into someone's head when daydreaming about Dem Blades. But nah.

Put em in your seat, not mine.

One option (though it won't happen until there's better seats elsewhere - i.e. extended South Stand), would be to stick them on the Bramall Lane end of John Street. I assume it's still split underneath?

Half of JSS is 3k+

And I won't have to walk to London Rd instead of down Bramall Lane cus West Ham are pissed off.

How about the moon with beam back? Oh, hang on, no atmosphere! Sorry, carry on

Well why not? A lot of other stadiums have minimal restrictions.

Would be easier to make some shit up about unruly away supporters and ban the fecking lot. No ticket problems then. UTB 👍
