Adrian Durham not a fan of blades

He’s trying to provoke a response from Blades fans but no one really gives a shit what he thinks. I hope no one bites, he’s just a troll. He likes to misinterpret people then cut them off to make them look stupid. Don’t fall for it Blades.
 
Durham has got a clue and knows exactly what he‘s doing.

His role is to be controversial..he‘s a pantomime villain...and tries to attract publicity, callers, texts.
He’s really good at his job and earns Talksport loads of publicity.
Being level headed and talking sense too much is really boring and wouldn‘t go down well on Talksport, who are the radio equivalent of The Sun.

Also it’s not personal..he‘s playing a role....and he’s just as controversial with other clubs.

Whats the saying “it’s better to be talked about than not at all”
I listen to Talksport a lot and we seem to get loads of coverage, much more than Villa or Norwich and usually it’s really positive, they seem to love Wilder.

Just to add some context, the discussion was about refereeing standards last night, not the Blades in particular. Plenty of other decisions were discussed and criticised, not just those two.
 
Goldstein was good last night on the way home from the match. Some Manc bird called up to say she got trapped in the ladies toilets in the away end and said we were proper dirty. Goldstein pointed out the 13 fouls each, and asked if city's were nice fouls.

I think Durham knows exactly what he’s doing. He’s like the Sun. Provokes and gets people talking by sensationalising a non story.

I don’t agree he has to be controversial. Some Fridays he does his show without saying daft things (basically because he reviews the forthcoming weekend games so it fills up a lot of time and he doesn’t have to generate calls by chatting shit) and it’s still entertaining. When Danny Kelly has filled in for him in the past he’s been very good without having to talk bollocks. It might have been necessary to help him get up the ladder but he’s capable of doing a decent show without being a nob and I wish he’d do it more often.
 
I just cannot understand any reason why anybody listens to that station. A couple of years ago, I worked in Leeds for about a month. I car pooled and when in the other blokes car, was forced to listen to it every day, there and back. It was just absolute shite. They seem to exclusively employ dickheads. Its just banal, wanker-on-wanker waffle.

It’s exactly the same....Brian volunteers to be on the wind up...where as Durham gets paid for it...that’s his role on the radio.

The presenters of each show are given different characters...some are serious and balanced but they intertwine presenters who are deliberately controversial.
Jason Cundy is another one who goes out of his way to be controversial.....then he goads listeners to call in and challenge him.
His co presenter will give an polar opposite view to Cundy to help give callers ideas and confidence to call.
 
Shit presenter on a shit show on a shit station that comes from a shit town and supports a shit club.

More fool anyone who actually wastes their time taking him and the station seriously.. I mean the Moose for fuck sake. The entire line up is just ”banter”
 
I’m usually driving when I listen to talkSPORT so at least it’s not a waste of my time.

If anyone had suggested 3 years ago that this question is being raised in the media.....they’ve have been locked up.

He's on about Premier League snobbery and moaning at fans dismissing Sheff U etc as they should be respected and they're challenging for Europe.

Someone should call up and remind him of his pre-season rant.

Not that keen on hoops, no longevity like spaghetti and I think they are just a tin of over produced letter o’s from alphabetti spaghetti that taste totally different to g’s and t’s imo
