The last comment is the only actual facts on the lad. Looks a decent back up to me and considering the route both Baldock and Stevens took he might be ok. A tick from me.

“Robinson at LB:

P18 W10 D7 L1

Robinson not at LB:

P9 W1 D4 L4 “

Having an opinion is fine.

But CWAK have earned abit of credit. See O'Connell, Egan, Baldock, Stevens, Lundstram, Fleck, Norwood, McGoldrick et al - all previous clubs said they were rubbish.

This isnt true at all

Enda Pompey's POTY, Lunny Oxford captain, Norwood took 2 teams up they just went different directions in the PL both Brighton and Fulham said he'd be quality for us as he was them, Ipswich fans rated Didsy just said he was dogged by injuries so never reached his full potential with them, most Cov fans thought it was stupid for them to let Fleck go on a free, MK were gutted when Baldock left

Egan and JOC perhaps the only 2 you're right on as I didn't exactly see many at Brentford heap praise on them

We've read different things then. If I could be arsed, I'd trawl back and show some examples. But I know what I read, sure there were probably other positive comments but there were bad ones too.

Still doesn't change my overall point of CWAK have earned our trust in their signings.

Oh yeh, Moussett was another.

He doesn't sound very good at all, but by and large Forest fans are bell ends, so what do they know?

Hugely unfair on Bellends, everywhere!

Bitter, twisted, self-entitled, tossers. Second only to our cheating, deluded, fuck-wit neighbours.

Good luck, Jack. Good enough for CWAK, good enough for me.

Grasping at straws but we don't play with a LCB or a LFB but with attacking overlapping centre backs and wing backs - no one else does. Ready made recruitment must therefore be difficult to slot into our system, if CWAK have tracked him for 2 years they must think Jack is that.

Relax and don't pass comment until we see him play.

The fact that CWAK are willing to give him a go is good enough for me. A manager with a 50% hit rate is doing well (and Wilder's is well above that). We also know that if Wilder is not happy with a player he will ship them out pronto, whether he paid good money or not.

He’ll play about three games for us, when JOC is injured or suspended. He’ll do quite well, better than expected. Then JOC will get his place back and the same posters criticising the signing will spend the next two years moaning that he doesn’t get a chance.

I was in Snottingham on Sunday and the accents were doing my head in!

On that view from it appears a poor signing, however we have CWAK who know far more about football players than me and most football fans.
Were only were we are due to the recruitment done CW & AK.

I agree they've earned our trust and turned "journeymen" or "lower league players" etc into high quality PL standard players, I just disagree with sentiment that these players were called shit by previous clubs when the majority of them were loved by the fans they left behind

A better example would have been Leon, and as you say more recently Lys

Read Moneyball.

The performance stats that matter to our system are different from traditional set-ups. That’s why we are where we are with who we’ve got.

Magic is made not Bought.

Sounds like he's better at LCB than LWB and from Wilders comments he's come in primarily to offer competition to JOC, as opposed to Enda.

Very selective view from of a mid table Championship side's fans

“He’ll be decent in L1. Not good enough for Championship. Better at centre back than Left Back. Bit slow and panicky. Big unit.”
“solid league 1 centre back”
“made costly mistakes in Champ this yr and has a distinct lack of pace”
“he is our 5th choice CB only played 5 games last season if that and he made costly mistakes in 3 of those. “
“he’s rock solid, all left foot, he’s a bit old fashioned with an eye for a diagonal.”

“I have always thought he looked an effective defender, if somewhat agricultural at times.”
“I like him and think he will only get better with time”
