Half time report:
Verrips - Kicking awful. Being kicked, accomplished! His reactions are slow (there was a ball over the top which he was late setting off for, Jags cleared but he would have been nowhere near it). I thought his positioning for the stop wasn't great either. Does not exactly look assured but I guess nervous
Osborn - Looks panicky and lacking composure. Some good stuff but caught out of position on more than one occasion
K Freeman - Started well going forward, albeit his final ball was horrendous. Zero interest in getting back.
Bryan - Like a Hollywood pass. Positioning dreadful and composure even worse
Jag - Looks a bit laboured but ok
Rodwell - Considering he's new, ok. Looked a bit too eager and then not really eager enough
Besic - World class saving tackle. Playing just infront on the back 3 and sticking to his task well. Best player for me, so far.
L Freeman - Again, looks panicky when he has the ball. Good cross for the goal but had lots of time. Doesn't seem confident enough to back himself
R Morrison - Is he on the pitch? Apart from two Hollywood corners to no one, seen very little
Leon - Ditto. Not had a great deal of service but not making runs
Robsinon - Good finish, albeit lucky bounce of his chest(ish). Again, not done a great deal and not seeing many run
Overall - I'm glad Flyde look awestruck. On a few occasions they've all too easily caused chaos with balls between CBs and WBs.
