What better way to mark my 1,000th post on this fine forum by stressing to you all how much I detest Kevin Blackwell for what he is doing to my beloved SUFC.

Obnoxious, arrogant and a pathetic football manager.

A clueless non-league goalkeeper in charge of my beloved Blades.

Kevin Blackwell - you are a horrible stain on my beloved football club.

Please, please I beg you, leave us all alone and give us our club back.

Until I get banned or the forum closes, I'll be on here every day stressing how much damage he is doing to SUFC.

I'm on the verge of conceding defeat because I aint going tomorrow. Can't face it anymore, can't face watching the collection of talentless nobodies wearing the red and white. Can't face wanting SUFC to lose anymore.

I just hope we get battered and it kicks off in terms of Blackwell Out. I urge every true Blade to get on Blackwell's back from the off and apologies I won't be there to assist.

At least one sane poster here! Well said M
Blackwell is ruining our club
Go Blackwell and take Ellis with you!

I had no idea you felt like this. Don't bottle it up so long next time.

Anyway, here's to the next 1000...

Why not?

Serious question - It could be a reet match!

By a reet match are we talking like Scunthorpe home and away, Blackpool away Peterborough Home and Away Watford away

We are playing rubbish, going nowhere and beating no one
Why should Sheffield United v Barnsley be a reet match

It will be rubbish

Use the opportunity to not go and register your protest at the poor management of our club Sheffield United

Or be a sheep and go along arrive 15 mins late leave 15 minutes before the end and renew your season ticket next season with the same clowns in charge.

No thanks not for me Iv'e wasted enough time following the Blades this season with the hope that it will get better!

It doesn't It hasn't and it never looks like improving!

Well I for one won't miss you.

Whatever you do tomorrow can you encourage all your other moaning mates to do it with you so that the vast majority of real Blades can get on with their duty of supporting the team.

I hope you have a good day, in fact I hope that you have such a good day that you never darken the doors of BDTBL again unless you can find a way to turn your abject negativity into some kind of positive force.

In over 34 years of watching United I have NEVER wanted them to lose.
:thumbdown:Bye, you'll not be missed.

I'll be going tomorrow and also hope we lose, ideally heavily.
I also hope we get tanked on Monday and lose next Saturday.
If that hasn't done the job, I'll be hoping for a BDMassacre part II on the 18th which would definitely finish him off.
He needs to go, we need to have root and branch change.

Jesus Christ, I couldn't possibly hate any so much that I'd wish us to be battered at Hillsborough just to hurt them.

It's a case of the greater good.
We have two people in charge of the club in Kev and Trev who seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth and given no inkling they give a flying about the fans or what they're trying to achieve next season.
That being the case, the only thing that might prod them into action is a humiliating end to the season.
Just more mediocrity will lead to a relegation battle under Blackwell who will end up sacked anyway.
Time for change.

The greater good? Heavy defeats in Derbies can do real long term damage, never mind the short term pain.

Thats B*****ks I you Know it!!!

Youre going and supporting a second rate manager is the negative factor
Accepting mediocrity
Blindly 'Supporting the team'
Real Bl;ades don't make me laugh:mad:
No backbone, No Guts Just 'Up the Blades' Duty to support the team Meek and Mild
Do something positive Get this manager out
Ive supported the Blades many years Don't talk to me about abject negativity Your post stinks of it!!!!!

It's a case of the greater good.

It's the "case of the greater good", year on year.

It was the case of the greater good with Robson, with Warnock and you could keep on going back.

Regardless of my feelings towards any management or players, I want Sheffield United to win every week.

I'll also go and support them as a club, whoever is in charge. My loyalty is to Sheffield United, not one man.

If that makes me a "sheep" and means I somehow apparently don't want the best for the Blades, then so be it.

Kevin Blackwell wants the Blades to win, he'll want desperately to batter the pigs and yet it's him that gets the abuse and personal insults from those who openly admit they'd rather we lose?

I bet the time just drags like fuck when we win, doesn't it? You really want Wendy to beat us? Christ in a fucking cartoon......

Let's not pretend both camps don't want the same thing, i.e. long term success for SUFC.

When some say that they go every week hoping we will win, they obviously hope that those wins will mean long term success.

Those who says they hope we'll lose thinks that may bring about a managerial change, which, according to them, is the only hope of long term success.

Let's at least try to understand eachother before the infighting gets nasty.

You could always have him assassinated...

It does what it says on the tin does this thread...

Are you off your rocker wanting another BDM by the pigs so they can talk bollox and take the piss for another 30 years hence?

Has much as I want Blackwell to be replaced, under no circumstances do I want us to suffer a loss at Hillsborough (or to anyone for that matter).
I think this season we have suffered enough humiliation and this disaster of a manager should do the decent thing and admit failure and walk away.
Having said that I do see your point about 'the greater good'.

Of course he wants to win, it's his job to win. If I was a football manager I'd want to win every game, that doesn't mean I'd be any good at it. If I was getting paid as much as him, and I'm not saying he's on a lot compared with some managers, but he is on a lot compared to us "normals", then I'd accept the shit from the fans if my team was turning out crap week in week out.

I could never want the scum to beat us (although I'm not going to the sty for the first time since I was old enough to) but all the other games that are left this season, Barnsley included, it wouldn't upset me greatly if we lost the lot.

Our club needs a clear out, players and manager. Luckily the overhaul of players is already going to happen, just the management we need to work on now.

I never said he was good at it, I'm comparing the two.

He wants to win, some fans want us to lose. Yet some of the ones who want us to lose abuse the one who wants us to win?

Straightforward question Foxy - do you want Blackwell in charge at start of next season?

One word answer please.

It is impossible to give a one word answer as it isn't so black and white.

At the moment, no, I'd like a change. For many reasons, it isn't just a case of hating a bloke so wanting rid.

That doesn't mean that I'd like us to lose to get rid of him, it means based upon a number of factors I think that a change is more or less enforced and quite probably needed.

Actually, why am I even answering? isn't it normally you that decides what I think? ;)

What I'm saying is that it's his job to want us to win and he probably gets a bonus if we do so.

As has been touched on by Bergen (I think it was) the people that want us to lose dont wish it to be detrimental, they see that some short term bad form in a season that will peeter out to nothing might force some much needed change. Being paid to want us to win is different to wanting what's best for the club.

I know it isn't black and white, understand that. I Just hope that deep down you understand, however much you disagree, that very loyal (in turns of paying up year in year out) and commited Blades (I really am one, promise) are so totally and utterly fed up with Blackwell to the extent that seeing us lose heavily is pretty much the only way we can see the club moving forward next term

I understand that that is the case, that doesn't mean I can't disagree with the sentiment.

There are plenty of very loyal and commited Blades who are fed up and frustrated to the same level, but would never for one second think that losing to our closest rivals or getting battered by anyone is good for the club.

How far do you take it? Just how badly is it possible to hope we do with the idea that it'll make things become better?

I do understand exactly what you are trying to make me understand, I always have, I just completely disagree with the method and the thought that it is the only way to improve things.

I also think there is some twisted logic somewhere along the way personally abusing Blackwell but wanting us to lose...

  • He wants us to win, therefore he wants the best for us.
  • If he "makes us lose", then surely he's doing what is wanted of him in terms of matching the theory mentioned here?
If Blackwell came out and said that he wanted the players to get a battering against the Dingles and the Pigs, because it would give them a wake-up call and improve things in the long run, what would you say?

Usually I have to Foxy, because I never feel you give a real opinion - all you do imo is commentate on a string - offering thoughts on what McCabe and Blackwell are thinking not what you think. That aint a pop or owt Foxy or dummy coming out because you disagree with me - I love it really, and you do always answer a question when asked to do so.
