Without wanting to sound negative - at least one loss will happen in these games, it’s ok saying these are the ‘worst’ premier league sides but this isn’t like playing the worst teams in the Championship, these are premier league sides and we are underdogs in most games.

Edit - I agree that they are also all winnable games!

I’m not sure how anyone can say with such conviction that “at least one loss will happen in these games”, why should that be the case? We’ve been even bigger underdogs in the last 7 games and got through them undefeated, we haven’t lost away this season and we haven’t lost an away league game anywhere since January. So what’s so different about the next set of 5 games that makes you so sure sure that we’re going to come unstuck?

The fact is we could win them all, we could lose them all or it could be something in between, nobody really knows, but the way this team has performed the last few seasons, it’d be daft for us to write them off achieving anything with such certainty surely? The way we e played this season, I wouldn’t even back us to lose with certainly any of the 5 games following this set which on paper are a nightmare. Fortunately they’re not played on paper.

For reference, we had 16 points this time in our previous campaign and our final game of 2006, the win over Arsenal, took us onto 23 points heading into the new year. We had a patch of four games end of November/beginning of December that resulted in three wins and a draw, which was by far our best period of the season. We made just 15 points after NYE.
