So he thought that because we were "only" playing Newcastle he could leave out our 2 best players over the last few weeks.
Some posted before the game that they were ok with the changes and those 2 needed a rest. Well fuck me. Moose only recently playing regular games and Didsy acclaimed by Wilder at the weekend, and saying we are a far better side with him playing in the team. Sorry Chris but this one is down to you!

They both came on and did fuck all though.

With the lack of quality from our wingbacks and midfield tonight, I don't think it would have mattered.

It's deeper than that, we always struggle to break down teams that defend so deep. The midfield needs a look at for me.

Are you taking the piss?

Yep we should NOT go with a flat back 3 with teams that come and park the bus...Lundstram was absent all game, where were then runs into the box?

In the champ towards the end of the season we used to let the opposition play and lay off the press to get the ball then break, I’m thinking against the less technical sides especially the limited ones like Newcastle who are only gonna come and park the bus we need a sinatra approach.

Lundstram played two or three absolutely superb cross field passes, sublime. In midfield it was Fleck who misfired all game. These things happen.

Give it a fucking rest. Just deserts from a man who’s worked miracles where many have failed. Have a quiet word
So because of what he's done , is he immune from critisism? I'm sure deep down he regrets his selection tonight. Didsy would have linked the play for us in those tight areas tonight. Bill ran around like a headless chicken.
Why is it some fans can't find it in themselves to have a pop when they think something wasn't right.
I love Chris to bits but think he brought this on himself.

No, not taking the piss. Why would i do that! My opinion is he got it wrong and it cost us big style. Billy and McBurnie or Goldie and Moose? Tell me your preferred 2 Tom.

Preferred two for me is obviously Mousse and Didzy.

But we have to have some faith in the people we have on the bench, and we can't realistically expect an ageing McGoldrick and Mousset to start every game.

I thought we had decent enough chances in the first half. Their keeper made some good saves. Oli won things in the air and held off on the theatrics and Sharp held the ball up well.

I don't get the mentality of plonking the blame on Wilder for that kind of defeat. That's all.

I thought we’d have been a bit smarter today. We knew how they were going to line up. But we seemed slow to react. We needed to change it earlier...mebbe at HT...to give them something to think about. We needed runners between the lines and to play it quicker.

Disappointing...we weren’t at it today.

We move on.

We have to rest and rotate players. I'm surprised he rested both strikers together, but they were probably more appropriate against the parked bus.

However, if you;re going to rest players, I'd have thought he'd have done so with a midfielder as well. It's quite likely that we'll lose two to suspension at the same time and Besic, Freeman and Osbourn have hardly played.

He did the right thing rotating his squad -it didn’t work move on

REALLY.....probably just love your self. How many teams have you managed and what was your win percentage...just asking?

Their keeper made at least 4 fantastic saves, could have been a lot different tonight.
Exactly, we played really well for 70 minutes. The players didn't really manage the last 15 very well - the brcodes were playing so deep by then that we needed to take a few 50:50 chances

close the book on this one and move on

Why do we always get idiotic comments like this? Squad rotation is absolutely 100% necessary. Our strikers get through a hell of a lot of work, if they don't get rotated, there's no chance they'd finish a season.

We didn't look any better when Mousset or McGoldrick came on. Looked even less likely to score in fact
