The thing is, the Lundstram situation got disallowed so that’s exactly the reason we are complaining, it’s a fucking joke if you ask me Bergs.

It's obviously unfair, but they shouldn't keep making mistakes because they've fucked up once. They should have apologised, said they've thought about it and clarified the rules from then on.

A thought experiment, what if the ball was played like in the photo below and all our players waving for an offside decision on their number 18 (red circle), i.e we stopped playing completely, as did their other players. But as the no 18 showed no interest in the ball the linesman didn't bother waving his flag. Could the number 18 then exploit that situation and go for the ball? The ball wasn't really going to him originally, but like Jimenez (had he been offside) he is gaining an advantage by being in an offside position.

Jiminez is offside if the ball was chipped over and Jiminez is the first to receive the ball also if a Blade defender is the first to the ball and Jiminez is near enough to him

Common sense isn’t a very good sequence as we well know and that is why we will and should feel aggrieved as it stands.

I think someone on here has already suggested this. However, VAR sits uncomfortably with me as it gives every opportunity to gambling syndicates, unscrupulous individuals, groups etc, to fix results. Some of the decisions I have seen have no real logical/satisfactory explanation. I just don't like it. Goal line technology, great, VAR not so.
