Not knocking CW/AN
Just never rated McBurnie. Tried to keep quiet and give him a chance to impress me and change my mind but it's not happening yet hence this is my unpopular opinion.
You may well end up being right on this one. I'll be honest, i'm a little disappointed in him following (in my opinion) a brilliant introduction against Leicester. He has had limited opportunities since, but he does appear lightweight and i'm not a fan of his "off-field" activities and subsequent documentation on social media.

The winky face was intentional as i'm rather hoping that CWAK can spot a good striker better than i can :)

I'm finding it tricky to enjoy this season... and I'm sure I'm not alone.

I mean... it just seems too good to be truly and that it's a dream, and if not a dream it feels inevitable a crash is around the corner because we are SUFC.

It's almost scary how well things have gone. I suppose it's a natural reaction after all these years!

Wilder needs to wind his neck in re: the pigs. It’s already killing them, don’t need to give the impression we are looking over our shoulder out for them

Pasta man is a wum/pig :eek::eek:
Yeah, because they can all laugh at how us Blades have taken to our hearts someone who says he has gone through hell, is struggling with his health and appears to struggle a little at expressing himself. How funny it will be when he reveals that he has been imitating someone with needs and issues and how the Blades have been kind, supportive and big hearted.
Except unfortunately he would also be able to point to quite a few cynical, cold-hearted, unkind, mean, uncaring, bullying posters who have shown themselves to be anything but compassionate.
Shame really, don't you think?

I think VAR is a positive development and can work well however it will take time. It's not it's fault that it detects stupid laws within the game or that the referees don't know how to use it properly.

It worked pretty well at the World Cup and does in other sport so no reason it can't here.

When we sold Mick Jones to Leeds in 1967 my father explained to me that we were a 'selling club'. He was angry, the sort of anger I only saw from him when Thatcher was on the tele.

Unfortunately nothing that has changed ever since.

We have a new outright owner now. Will it change?

I think our fans would moan if we won the Champions League by scoring 10 goals against Barcelona

Judging by the bickering on the above thread I think this comment is absolutely spot on 😂😂😂

We didn't need Sander Berge.
True until we get an injury. Wilder is always making contingency plans hence why we have loaned (and tried to loan) some players inferior to the ones we already had. I didn't get it last season when Madine and Hogan were brought in and I believe they were only utilised to get them up to speed.

F**k avoiding relegation...if we don’t get at least a Europa League spot from our current position, I’ll be bitterly disappointed...and I suspect Wilder would be as well.

I’ve got greedy with all the recent success and we may never get a better chance again.

But I’ll tow the party line...”yay we’ve reached 40pts, we’re safe, what a great achievement etc”

Who the fuck is wit, does he have an actual role at the club or is he just a friend of CW? Some people make out like he's some kind of ITK god.

Way too many "bigger blades" on Twitter too, especially when it comes to posting pictures of tickets for away games they've just bought or mentioning that no-one asks for customer numbers for games against lesser teams. Shock horror, people who can't afford to go every game will pick the better games they go to...
