Blades 2 (Reece, Addison) Everton 1 (Ball pen) in FA Cup 3rd round 3/1/70. Reece and Everton's right back Tommy Wright receiving medical treatment after a clash of heads. Wright couldnt continue after half time and was replaced by sub Sandy Brown who played at left back and Keith Newton was switched from left back to right back. Both Wright and Newton played for England in the 1970 World Cup and so did Brian Labone (wearing number 5 in the photo) and Alan Ball

I remember that game and was there. The Oxford goalkeeper was called Kearns. I’ve no idea why I remember that!

No, 3-1 in 31/8/74. He did play in the 7-0 defeat in 27/11/71 too
