Sadly, physicality has all but gone from the game these days but to be fair to Dermot Gallagher (for once), he completely backed the decision up on Sky yesterday saying as they were level, it was a perfectly fair 'shoulder-to-shoulder' as far as he was concerned. He did say though that had Moose been slightly behind him, the foul would have been given either by the ref or goal cancelled by VAR.

Theres a reason that despite OGS saying he wanted to take 10 players off at HT, Jones was the only one he actually did. He’s absolute toilet. Not only is he a bad player, he looks stupid doing it. All the sprawling about on the floor, the idiotic faces he pulls. He might as well wear a big red nose and arrive at training in the Chuckle Brothers peddle car. How the hell he’s hung around at a club like Man U for so long is baffling, and probably says more about the state they find themselves in. Old Fergie would have sacked him off to some mug like Everton or Newcastle years ago.

Moose absolutely destroyed him. If Jones had stayed on, we’d have probably got a third before Moose’s legs went/he got crocked. That sub probably saved them a point.

Speaking of fouls or not, I think it was Jay McEverley (v Coventry?) a few years back went in two footed and somehow only got a yellow - might have been the same game that there was a ‘goal line technology’ moment for George Long!

And Billy score with his shoulder as he turned away from the ball.

Luckiest/least deserved win I can remember seeing.

The Mousset foul was a 50/50 shoulder barge.

Not a foul but you often see refs usually give them if another player falls down like they’ve been shot.
Jones waited for the challenge and just went down playing for the free kick but it backfired on him.
Thought it was brave for the ref to wave play on.

Like others have said, if Jones hadnt been falling on his arse every other time Moose came near him then our first goal would possibly have been disallowed.

However I think everyone was getting a little tired of his antics of going down easier than a Chinese hooker.
