He actually proper cheered every blades goal and left with a massive smile on his face. Ive taken him to a lot of United games over the years, I think this one left a lasting impression.

I sit in the south stand, theirs a single seat between me and the next season ticket holder. in previous seasons whoever’s turned up to sit there has at least said hello, this season they’ve remainder tight lipped and haven’t celebrated with the enthusiasm you’d expect. Also the concourse is harder to negotiate with all the people who stop dead in their tracks trying to read their tickets.

So what! I can guarantee there have been Blades fans in the home end of every one of our away games this season. If these away fans find a way to get a ticket fair play to them I have sat in home ends.

Correct Robbo ! virtually impossible to keep all away fans out especially a club like Man utd who have fans everywhere.
It does keep the trouble makers out as they wont cause any real trouble when there is only one or two together , trouble caused when they get in, in groups.

Yes for a 1 off game I can accept, but if you had to sit next to opposition fans every game I'm sure you'd be annoyed.

I sit on the South Stand and I think maybe half of the games (Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool) this season including yesterday I have opposition fans sat next to me. Firstly, how are these people getting tickets? And also this is highly annoying. I had a dispute with one yesterday because I said that they're stopping a Blade coming because he couldn't a ticket in the away end.

Sounds like whoever has the ST for the seat next to you has decided to use it as an investment.

I don't know what the T&Cs are for STs, but it would of course be completely wrong to grass them up to the ticket office...

That said, if I can't celebrate dramatic last minute equalisers against Man Utd because of VA fucking R, then making a few quid by flogging my seat doesn't seem like such a bad idea at the moment.
