Wilder to Spurs

3 players are about to walk out the club on a free transfer. It is clear by their performances on the pitch that he lost the dressing room around the after the CL final.
Can't argue with most of that. The bit I have issue with is, 'lost the dressing room'. From what I have heard, the dressing room is split into three groups, none of which communicate much. That split has nothing to do with Poch but other factors. A new manager is going to have the same issues. Of course my info could be wrong. I find myself asking, who will they get as good/better? Spurs are a good example of a club with disconnections at all levels. I hope the Prince is observing and learning.

Wilder will leave one day that I have no doubt of. However, today or anytime soon it's not going to happen. Chris is loyal, he is very ambitious and will settle for no crap. It would take a monumental fk up by the club for him to leave before he's turned us into a stable premier league club.

Whatever any UK club would offer him we would match or better whilever we are in the Prem.

Only a suicidal club would let someone as good as CWAK slip through their fingers.

The move to.the new stadium meant he got to spend zero last season
As a top club. You can't put player turnover on hold. They have to refresh and introduce. Competition . They should have sold Erikson and Rose and got in new faaces.. Wilder rotates our squad to keep people hungry. Spurs board hamstrung poch by stagnating that process

His players are absolute shits, he needed a new dressing room and asked for one two years ago.

Erikson, Rose, Alderweireld are a cancer growing on Spurs.

Get the twats out and replace them with players who want to be there and they'd soon pick up, but they have him one decent transfer after he got them to a Champions League final with no real investment for months if not years.

Hope they get Curbishly. Deserve it.

I don’t think they will as they will want high profile for their high profile stadium and ambitious. Mourinho is the likely candidate

However Wilder couldn’t turn down this job if he was approached no chance, that will get me abuse but it’s Champions League football, 60k plus home attendance in a fantastic stadium, good squad, huge pay rise.

Come on, I wouldn’t blame him. I’d worry about us though if he did. Fingers crossed they go for a journeyman.

Wilder is very very ambitious and who's to say that the above points you raise are not exactly where he is aiming with this club?

Stay with us with a team and fans that adore him. Match whatever anyone else offers him salary wise. Back him with whatever he needs and who knows where it could lead us?

Exactly. Small time thinking.

It's not like Tottenham have been European giants their entire history.

Just a good top 10 team until quite recently.

Just heard Harry Redknapp being interviewed on Radio Five.
"So, Harry, would Jose Mourinho be a good fit for the Spurs job?"
"I'd give it Chris Wilder at Sheffield United, he's done great things, won league titles, would be perfect, but they won't give it to him, they'll give it to a big name foreigner."
"Yes, Harry, so what about Jose Mourinho."
"Give it Chris Wilder."
"But Harry, what about Jose Mourinho."

Harry and Wilder are good mates, so it's not surprising that he gave him a plug.

Let Warnock have a stab at it, he says that he has got one more go at it 😳

To be fair he did get a new dressing room, he just got an actual room rather than the new players he really needed. Levy has selective hearing perhaps.

Personally, I can see other players moving on now. The likes of Alli and Kane and Son. It could become very bleak for Spurs......hope not but what a muppet move to get rid of Poch!

If Eddie Howe doesn't get it, then they deserve all the misfortune that is now engulfing Arsenal and Man Utd!!

I hope Howe gets it because I want to see Bournemouth fall apart and go back to the old 3rd division where they came from. Then I want us to steal David Brooks off them for next to nothing because he's the most talented player we've had down there since TC and it's about time he came back home to a top Premiership club.
