I for one wouldn't be suprised if they asked to speak to Wilder, I mean, who in their right mind wouldn't, looking at his record so far!!?!!

Blades hate Cockneys innit. Mind you, shame he lived down there and has a connection...but can't see it happening, crappy job for someone to rebuild them

I don’t think Wilder would even want to work with the prima donnas that fill all the supposedly top teams squads. He’s a perfect manager for us Blades with a team full of honest, team playing grafters.

Of course he’d love to manage some world class players! What manager wouldn’t?!?

This is a surprise but I really don't see them going for CW, I feel Spurs have dropped a massive bollock I said to SIL other week look how many clubs in Prem build a new ground move to it and go down.

I’ve read the first 200 or so comments about this on the BBC website.

Managers suggested for the job
Mourinho
Wenger
Benitez
Eddie Howe
even Neil Warnock got mention or two. 😂

No one’s talking about Wilder.

Sacking Poch is a mistake.
Once a manager clearly signals he’s wanting out and fluttering his eye elsewhere it’s hardly surprising when the team start falling apart.
Zero chance of them wanting to speak to Wilder, although Ole should be looking nervously over his shoulder now and can’t afford to lose on Sunday else he's gone.
Of course Porktalk will be thraping themselves raw in anticipation, so expect Sudocrem shortages in South Barnsley.

Tottenham are a joke the best manager they have had in years. But he wasn't his own man, no control over transfers or players. he was always complimentary about us so good luck to him, he honestly deserves better than that shower of shite. It seems as though the players sulked? what … should have singed Pogba (and what a tosser he is) hope he plays Sunday coz he is a joke!!!

AnotherSpur is this as poor a decision as it seems from the outside?

Maybe a new manager could get some new contracts sorted out if he's a big enough name, but I doubt he's going to get any money.

He was going in the summer anyway and seemingly didn’t want to rebuild them again. He wants to go to a top level team like Man Utd or Real. From the club perspective, they’ve been piss poor for the last year with a very fortunate series of results in the Champions League which masked it, and given how poor they’re playing they may as well make the change now.

Just told my Spurs season ticket holder son, "keep your hands off our Chrissy", to which he replied, "don't worry dad we've got enough programme sellers!" - how very dare he!

Poch have overachieved and gets paid for that now. The money in the Prem is so significant that teams who've been around for 4-5 years all have economic muscles to buy and build very good teams.(scouting the key) The old top 6 might be history. Wilder stays for now
