Any club bar Man City and Liverpool could be forced to sell their keeper or any other key player either in January or the summer. To all intents and purposes it’s the same.

Hendo is a great young keeper in good form and clearly loves it at the Lane. Taking him on loan rather than trying to recruit permanently clearly made the most sense at the time (and still does). However, there are other keepers out there and between the Prince and Wilder I’m confident that a suitable replacement can be sourced and funded if Hendo were to leave in Jan, or stay at Man Utd in the summer.

I'll whisper it very quietly but I'm not overly bothered about losing Hendo next season. Don't get me wrong, he's been very good and is obviously a character on the pitch and in the dressing room, but I certainly wouldn't pay silly money for him. What would his value be now? £25m maybe?

Probably about £50m.

I think the longer Hendos enjoying playing in the prem with us the more he will realise hes in the spotlight more with us and gaining the international recognition his desire and ambition crave , His view of us could also change when we finish above man utd this season
Time will tell if he realises his future has more opportunities to advance with us than on man utds bench

I personally think Verrips could be being trained to be the future number one keeper, he seems a talented chap by all accounts, Moore seems unsure and not confident when in goal, the difference between Moore and Henderson is huge and Hopefully for the future we would look at Hendo if the price is right if not bringing in someone while working with Verrips to get him ready for the role of number 1.

Just think of his poor wife, not blind is she ?

If we are serious about signing Henderson on a permanent deal, we need to try and get it done sooner rather than later. His value is only going to continue to increase if he keeps putting in solid performances for us and starts to be involved in more England squads.

Not a goalkeeping expert but, having seen Verrips play, three times. I would say he's better than Henderson. He's a class act, think a cross between de Gea and Neuer. I was surprised and delighted when we signed him.

Could not agree more on this, I sense he was bought as a future number 1 rather than back up.

Could all depend on how the FIFA investigation goes

Henderson has pulled off some great flying saves for sure but I see last Saturdays goal was a nutmeg again, ... :tumbleweed:
