Actually at the start of the season I think I'd have been happy with a 0-2 at Spurs (at least it wasn't a 6-0 hammering). Some of our lot are getting a bit ahead of themselves. You are Champions League finalists and we are recently promoted form the Second Division. Its' not a forelock tugging thing, but we need to remember where we've come from. Despite some jocular bollocks, we will not finish 6th, or 10th, or 12th....

Some of our 'No ambition' wankers will give me some some stick, but as sure as night follows day, we will 'get found out' / 'run out of steam'. We are a good team of good pros but currently we are punching above our weight.

A point at your place would be a reet result and tha can quote me on that, tha Southern shandy drinking twat*

46 points would have got 13th last year. 30 from our next 28 games seems like a decent target and one that I'd be delighted to hit

Struggling here guys. ‘Wilder is no Dinosaur’ thread and we are buzzing that we are at last getting recognition, despite us getting the plaudits for weeks in fairness. Then I read this. Wow, let’s have some sense here, a pundit backing Tottenham at home against anyone other than City or Liverpool are hardly sticking their neck out or been stupid FFS. Maybe if we had a slightly more stable with the media, their opinions would reflect this?

Let me make it clear that I have no problem with being ambitious and wanting to finish as high as possible. Personally I don't think it will be in the top 10 though.

It isn't 'lack of ambition' or 'little old Sheffield United', just my personal view based on the quality of the other teams in the league. We are doing very well, which obviously I'm very happy with but I just can't see us staying at this level.
