Son out , played Sunday, got a European match Wednesday, Erickson wants out , in there lowest league position for a long time !
Kane had a virus ( get well soon ,after sat though )
And the team with the best defence rolls into town .
Come on you red and white wizards!!

Who we sticking in the net Vs Man U?

Is it even a question, would Wilder just put Moore in anyway? Having seen Moore a lot, he has his glaring weaknesses but he knows the team better. Verrips is an unknown, potentially a better keeper but has never played in a competitive game for us.

Assuming the contract stuff is no longer a concern.

Agree, but both teams are also a bit unpredictable. On their day they can pull out clinical performances with the use of their talented players. See Man U vs Chelsea or Spurs in Champs League.

Still nothing to fear though.

Simon Moore will be in goal against Man Urd.

Verrips will be on the bench. 👍🏻

There away as well to Red Star Belgrade lol , it just gets better ✈🚌

A lot of pressure on Spurs and Potch to get results this week. I like the guy and don't wish him any ill will but he could be out of a job next weekend.

Poch has lost his marbles.

How Eriksen keeps getting picked is beyond me. You could put a pub player in his place and he couldn't put in a worse performance.

His substitutions are beyond bizarre (they have always been odd but now they are actually ludicrous).

I like Poch but something needs to change and change quickly.

Think he needs to keep playing Eriksen so his stock doesn’t tumble before January. If he’s that desperate for a move he’ll need to buck his ideas up.

I think that might be in the thinking however Eriksen has been going backwards since the start of last season. On current performances he will be lucky to get a move to Turkey.

We could sack both Ole and Poch this month if we beat them. That’d be funny until they both came knocking for Wilder.

Having said that I think Poch has too much credit in the bank and both would be too snobbish to go after Wilder. They’ll go after a random espanyol manager who’s just had back to back wins instead.

The best thing might be for Pochettino to take another job now. Barca need a new manager, that would be ideal. So do Bayern.

I did think Spurs best chance of a title was with him in charge though so it would be a shame, and a difficult transition if he left.

Just hope they do not sack Poch before Saturday.

If / when he does go I can see Wilder being approached, indeed can see him being approached about any job as he has proved himself capable of managing in the premiership and has unique ideas, which all clubs aspire to.

Let’s hope that he is given all the relevant assurances from HRH re ongoing support and furthermore that the no bigger blade than me appeal has no effect and is resolved quickly.

Our energy and drive has proved a challenge for every team we have played so far, so I don't see that changing on Saturday. Spurs look completely lost at the moment but they do still have some outstanding players who can turn a game in a second.

As ever, a tough one to call, but I have got so much belief in this team and I know that our preparation will be meticulous.

I can see us doing the business.

There is more chance of you buying a Wednesday shirt mate. Or me wearing a Woolwich one.

Haha, im just going on the things that come back to haunt us. That one he scored in the cup was a sickener.

I personally guarantee it will not happen again. Eriksen is a shadow of the player he was then.

What do you think of the Eriksen/Vertonghen rumours? Anything in them or just bollocks made up by gooners?

Will we need one ?

I appreciate many on here don't hold any truck with the XG stats, however despite their current lowly position Man U are creating lots more XG ave per game (1.7) than they are conceding (1.1).
Expect them to climb the table soon. They currently sit 4th in infogol's XG table!

Nice idea but Pochettino has ruled out ever managing Barcelona owing to his Espanyol links. He'll end up at Real Madrid once they get tired of Zidane.

Spurs performances at the moment definitely have the feeling of the end of an era.

Nerd alert - one caveat, a lot of that is penalties. Strip those out and they're creating 1.2xG per game (14th in the league, behind us in 12th) although they are also then conceding 0.9xG against, which is the best in the league, surprisingly.

Penalties still count as goals of course and good teams tend to get more of them as they do more attacking, but they've been really poor from open play relative to their resources. I genuinely won't be shocked if they finish 8th-9th unless something changes - this is a pattern that's been going on more or less since Ole took over, they just had a lovely run of fixtures / nicked a lot of close games that made them look better than they actually were.
