Well, given the trend for this sort of thing, you’ve got to assume he was conceived in Mexborough?![]()
Back in the day, when Corro was Coronation street - Stan Ogden, Eddie Yates, Monkey's missus, Inkerman St etc so on such like - Ken Barlow's brother played for Citeh.
Congratulations K. Bryan. You must now go and buy a scalextric for ######mas.

There are some sad people on here.
Summert about a broken leg and a car crash springs to mind.Sorry to come across all Silent Blade on this one, but his brother David played for Weatherfield County, he was the Tommy O of his day. He was than transferred to a London team never named, but I’d like to think it was Chelsea.
He eventually married into the Ogden family, their daughter Irma, and they emigrated to Oz. He was a most likely a pioneer for the likes of Monty and his eventual dalliance with Wollongong Wolves.
Lucky for the lad it wasn't Birdwell
Back to wallpapering for me, with memories of Stan Ogden fitting a serving hatch. In the opposite wall to where the Kitchen was.
And many thanks for correcting me. As bloody usual.

In my defence though, he was shown playing in a game. It definitely looked like Citeh and a well attended Maine Rd.

This takes me back some years and me and an old work mate still chuckle.Ha, that’s just reminded me of the bloke who ran our Sunday football teams DIY skills.
They had a new thicker carpet fitted and after much nagging from his wife, he planed 1” off the living room door, except that when he rehung it he realised he’d took it off the top.![]()
