So, 10 games in and a very good start indeed - with us sitting pretty in 8th and I think most would've been over the moon if offered that in the summer.

I don't think we could say anyone would be now worth any less than what we bought them for, or what they were worth in the summer - it's not like anyone has had a disaster. Even Robinson has scored at Chelsea and is still getting in the Ireland team, so his 7mil valuation would probably stand.
Think it's a good time to judge players as we now have a decent yardstick of how they're taking to the Prem and proving themselves in this moneypit of a division.

In my opinion the big winners in this area are probably Baldock, Lundstram and Mousset, who'd now cost any potential buyers considerably more than they would've in the summer.
You can say all of the defence have been superb, so why aren't they worth more? Well in truth I wouldn't have taken any less than £25mil for Jack or John given what Adam Webster and Tyrone Mings went for in the summer so I can't honestly say with any conviction that they're worth more than that at this stage, in my opinion at least. Despite the fact they've took to this division like a duck to water.

Regarding in my opinion the big winners - I'd say Lundstram is the obvious one, gone from a player we'd have struggled to get a million for in the summer (and that's being generous) to what seems to be so far a very decent Premier League box to box midfielder, at 24 there is still room for growth and he is indeed two footed. I think you're looking at probably £7mil minimum if any prospective buyer came in.
Baldock, I don't need to give reasons, we've all seen his performances, £10mil minimum. Compared to (apparent) talk of £3mil bids from Celtic which would've surely been laughed out of town in the summer.
Mousse we signed for about £7mil, he'd now be a snip at the £10mil reported, probably quite a bit more.

It's nice to know how much our players are worth, I think it's a brilliant story for any young pro what can be done if you're willing to work fucking hard and put in the hard yards, even take a risk and drop down a division, in the long run you might just turn from a Brentford reserve to a £30mil Premier League proven defender.

Any more for any more?

Biggest win John Egan he has been immense, future Captain!30 million quid plus sell ons!
Biggest loss without doubt McBurnie.Thought 17m was way too much and to date his performances and return have been poor. He likes Swansea so let him go back for 5m ... take the train though MCB

Regardless what you think to him so far a 23 year old striker who scored 20 goals last season in the Championship doesn’t go for less than £15mil so we wouldn’t make a loss on him either

Pretty sure we would make a loss . If anybody offered £15m I'd snatch their fucking hand off

Agree with much of that and would add Enda Stevens who has gone from a standard lower league player to someone who looks like he’s played in he big league all his life. 20 mill woulldnt be an unrealistic price to put on him.

All subjective and hyperthetical of course because the true answer is that a player is only worth what someone is prepared to pay but the fact that these are now premier league players automatically raises their worth significantly.

I’m not sure I’d sell Lundstram for 7 million now and that sounds crazy but as you mentioned he’s a 24 year old midfielder playing week in week out to a good standard. What would that put on s valuation of a Bournemouth player for example. I’d suggest that they would be looking for a lot more than 7 million

Baldock and Lundstram are the most significant risers. I didn't think we'd be able to get our 700k back on The Lun - now he'll be worth 10 times that when he signs a new contract!

Norwood's stock has risen, as has Stevens'.

Egan and O'Connell have done as expected - and then a bit more.

Fleck and Freeman are also looking comfortable, and I'm confident that whatever we paid for Freeman is less than he's worth.

McBurnie's had one hell of a start hasn't he..... we all know we overpaid but I don't think anyone would give us £10m currently.

Mousset on the other hand can go on to be a £30-40m player if he wants to be.

This is very much in “ten million pound defence” territory.

All the defence have been simply brilliant. Zeus knows what they might be worth in this crazy market, but Enda is getting on a bit so his valuation might be lower than Egan and Jacko.
Norwood has finally proved that a ping is just as easy in the prem as in the championship. Lundstram is our Roy Keane, and I can't think of a better compliment, he's amazing.
Fleck is getting better and better, so why do I think that our midfield is our weakness rather than our strikers ?
If we can find a way to create more chances from some excellent positions, without compromising our defensive shape and solidity, we could genuinely hope to finish top 8. Not an easy task though, but all in all, sitting 8th after a quarter season is terrific.

What about Egan, O'Connell, Bashan, Fleck and Stevens?

Id suggest Lunny worth more than 7m. What would we need to pay for a replacement box to box midfielder with such amazing crossing ability and cheeky backheels?

Fleck must be upwards of 10m surely?

Not so sure the Mouss a 10m forward. We've only seen glimpses of a half fit, fast, strong forward.

lundstram is 25 and turns 26 in February. just heading for his peak years. Billing, who is a bit younger and had more premier experience went for £15m in the summer, so a bit south of that if he keeps going as he has.

Lunny is an interesting one, as his contract runs out in the summer and he's effectively been told to earn a new contract.

It takes a very special “type” to challenge McBafflings worth having not significantly reduced from what we paid.

Very Very special in fact 😀👍.

bare in mind if he was given that chelsea goal (he basically forced an og) he would be on 4, equal to Haller (£50m), Maupay (£20m), Ings (£18m)

I think someone on here mentioned every PL goal increases your value by around £1m, of course this shoots up loads once you hit 10 goals mark, and lots more if you are young.

He is 23 and is on target for 10 goals. I would say he is a £13m striker at the moment, but £15-£20m in JTW?

Question, would Hendo's price (not value) have gone down, due to De Gea's long contract?
