So why post it? Actually thought Burnley were a tad unlucky against Chelsea. Dangerous opponents, as they all are at this level.

Henderson
Baldock bash Egan joc stevens
Lunny Norwood fleck
Mcgoldrick and the moose

You heard it here first
It’s the team that picks itself.
if only Moose didn’t have fitness issues. You can have the first 60 mins from him or the last 60 mins. So the question is, who is the other striker. The answer doesn’t seem to be Robinson or McBurnie.

Not really a shock is it? Moose only didn't start on Saturday because he wasn't fully fit, had a fitness test at 12pm

Tell Mousset to pace himself a bit because I think this game will go the distance....

I don't think he could. There was definitely a bit of moob wobble under his shirt when he scored on Saturday. I'd rather have him causing them problems for 50 mins than pacing himself and holding back for 90 mins. He'll get fit eventually.

It's frustrating that Sharp will only be used as a sub again as I think it's taking a lot away from his natural game when we ask him just to come on and see a game out for us.

This will be a fantastic game I think.
I'm expecting the toughest opponent since Liverpool

I think it's a unique fixture in the Premier League this season. A very British one. Lot of comparisons between us, and inevitably a very tight and hard fought game.

Agreed, Burnley look very dangerous on the counter as they play direct (not long ball, just they move towards the goal at pace with no thought of tippy tappying it about), just the style we struggle against defensively.

Looking at those fullbacks though I'd be tempted to start Sharp and Mousset. I think we could generate a bucket load of crosses which would be bread and butter for Billy, less so for Dids.

If he can only do 50-60 minutes, I'd rather him continue to come off the bench because the way we're playing, there's always likely to be very little if anything in the game at half time and it's the second half where we go for it and make the difference. His late impacts have been so good that it's a waste not to have him on the pitch deep into second half.

I wouldn't mind starting Sharp, let him smash it for 60 minutes, then bring Mousset on to do the same. I'd back us to be at least level on 60 minutes in this one.

I agree but based on 2 goals in 2 games it seems criminal to not start Mousset and if we only ever use him as an impact sub he's never going to be fit. Catch 22.

I'd look to start him in games where we can't be as confident of staying level at half time. Games where a draw would be a decent result.

It would be a great help if we had a comparable option to him, wouldn't it. ( 👀 👀 )

Collins Morris my source is closer than yours by quite a distance. Staff meeting this morning, two doubts for the game Saturday, name them or are you guessing on everything you write? I'll give you 20 minutes to get it right or make it up!

A new dick waving contest you say?!

It’ll be the late night trips to McDonalds in Dore. And I’m not joking.

If all strikers are 100% fit, I would go Mousset and McBurnie.

I think McBurnie will be needed to help defend Burnley’s set pieces. If Mousset isn’t 100% fit throw in McGoldrick and bring Mousset I’m off of the bench.

I like McBurnie but he is struggling his situation reminds me of Leon Brittain he was a great player, came from Swansea but got homesick could McB be suffering similar symptoms?

Bang on Ricky.

Added bonus of defenders with tired legs Vs the pace of Mousset.
