Why anyone would fuck about with a good cheeseburger is beyond me. Chilli, bacon, salami and bastard pineapple ffs.
It's all about the beef. Maybe a bit of fresh tomato, mustard, mayo or ketchup to highlight the taste, not make it redundant.
You need to get down to 5 guys mateOh I agree. With a burger, less is more. My first experience of a Denny's burger when we went to Florida, my God it was like I'd discovered a new food group. Then at Disney Springs, the Guy Fieri designed offering at Planet Hollywood. I just know I will never hit those heights, they were the best burgers I've ever had.
I want a burger that's easy to eat, and not have to feel like I need a jaw like a snake to eat it.
In this country, in terms of "mainstrean" Burger King beats McDonalds on every point except perhaps service.

Denny's was a big favourite of ours on several trips to the States back in the '80s with Mrs . Joe and the kids .
Their steak and eggs for breakfast and pot roast in the evening were something else and the atmosphere and ambience in all of them was a cut above all the other chains .
