Bash the burger flipper.

One of my favourites for a few years now with his attitude, hard work, tenacity, and under rated ability.

A few like to focus on his mistakes and I'm sure back in the day the odd customer only got regular fries with their 'go large' Big Mac meal.

Nothing like giving the other side in Barnsley a bit of ammo Bash.

Could he handle the gourmet range though ? Because that’s where we are now !

More like the "gormy" range if Meadowhall Retail Park is anything to go by.......

Why anyone would fuck about with a good cheeseburger is beyond me. Chilli, bacon, salami and bastard pineapple ffs.

It's all about the beef. Maybe a bit of fresh tomato, mustard, mayo or ketchup to highlight the taste, not make it redundant.

Oh I agree. With a burger, less is more. My first experience of a Denny's burger when we went to Florida, my God it was like I'd discovered a new food group. Then at Disney Springs, the Guy Fieri designed offering at Planet Hollywood. I just know I will never hit those heights, they were the best burgers I've ever had.

I want a burger that's easy to eat, and not have to feel like I need a jaw like a snake to eat it.

In this country, in terms of "mainstrean" Burger King beats McDonalds on every point except perhaps service.

Last time I ate at a McD's had the shits all night long. Still not as bad as Taco Bell however...:(

I think it was 5 guys next to the arena that I went to a few years back when i last went to the cinema.

The burger itself tasted alright, but it was just dripping in oil.The bread became too soggy to eat.

Agree Sean. Not a fan of any of the mainstream burger places, in fact I can't remember the last time I had a burger out. I've made my own for ages, using ground chuck steak from a local butcher. Apart from some seasoning, nothing else goes into it. Cooked in a griddle pan, then served with a slice of decent cheese melted on top. I like a slice of beef tomato with mine, nothing else not even a sauce, mustard or mayo.

Given the choice I would have a BK over a MCD.

Heard good things about Urban burgers though?

Can't be bothered with the fast food burgers they're all crap, get down to Uncle Sams on Eccy Road for a proper burger!!

Denny's was a big favourite of ours on several trips to the States back in the '80s with Mrs . Joe and the kids .

Their steak and eggs for breakfast and pot roast in the evening were something else and the atmosphere and ambience in all of them was a cut above all the other chains .

Oh shit ! Fucking cold callers 😫

Best burger I have ever had was at USAF Mildenhall in the 90's at on of their airshows went down for the bak hol weekend, arrived on the thursday booked in at the B & B then went and sat at one of the external viewing spots to watch all the aircraft come in and practice. Cooked over an old oil drum BBQ, delicious, makes anything you buy at McD's or BK just non existant......
