FFS Blackwell take the crap hoofball elsewhere. You are slowly suffocating this club.
My shoes are off, this clapper has had enough. Our season is over for sure.
I am aware we have had a bad injury list but don't good managers budget for injuries ?
I have never felt as much about protesting about bad management as I do now,if I was a younger man with a bit more passion i'd be in the car park this saturday.

He keeps making excuses, including the injuries and the so called "clappers" keep swallowing it. I would be more satisfied if he stopped whinging and got on with his job. He has a core of 10 very decent players to choose from along with 6 or 7 others who can do a job. Other managers have bigger problems than that!

Regardless of his football ideals we are losing momentum fast and he cant work under this sort of pressure so we need to get someone who can before its too late. Sadly I think it is already.

He lost me when he went to Leeds ,this time he last me last season ,I can't stand the bloke. Maybe people can see why I was so pissed off when we got rid of Warnock. Unfortunately 7 years of good work are being undone and will take years to regain.

unfortunately the 'injury excuse' doesn't wash as we have a full quota of midfielders and strikers to choose from. the injuries at the back are a convinient excuse but they don't account for our inability to string 2 passes together or to create chances.

As long as two of the midfield are Quinn and Monty, I think you'll find this more than accounts for it.

We shouldn't sack him yet (don't crack your screen just yet....)

We're in a period of transition on the pitch, with the finances and on the terraces.

The football club is having to re adjust it's finances and the fans are having to re adjust their expectations. Right now, it's painful, but it WILL get easier - if only easier to take.

It's better that Blackwell acts as the fall guy during this period. The season's finished - we aren't good enough - and it will take too long for another manager to make the changes - unless we opt for more rubbish like we currently suffer - so let's not taint a new man with the inevitable crap we're going to go through for the remainder of the season.

Let Blackwell take us until the summer. Hopefully he'll resign, McCabe will sell up, and we can start a new era at BDTBL, where football is the priority, on and off the field.

I agree with Alco. There are signs this new team is beginning to gel. Long way to go yet Alien, so don't panic.....

No one will be in the car park this Saturday cos no one can be bothered. Blackwell has sucked the life out of this club over the last year or so and boy, doesn't it show. I am proud to have been one of those 'shoe waving morons' ( (c) puppet ) that protested against Robson. I felt passionately about it and I wasn't prepared to just sit back and watch my club sink any further but you know what, I just couldn't be arsed to do the same now. It's a chore going down to the Lane and I'm getting there later and later. I just view it as a duty that I feel I have to do, likewise I want to get off home as soon as afterwards.

Shoes off..? Only to put mi carpet slippers on I'm afraid.

I have virtually zero confidence in the way things are going right now, but I would still leave it till the end of the season. Despite the poor results, injuries, awful football, we're still comically just one point off 6th - it's a terrible league. We've seen teams like us somehow bumble their way into the playoffs, and at that point anything's possible. Except for us of course....

Some fair and valid points there and I have considered this option myself but just to flip the other side of the coin what if;

We appoint a new manager who.........

*Has 6 months to assess the remains of the squad and who he wants to keep for next season.

*Has 6 months to integrate his own football ideals and styles into team before next season

*Has 3 months to give this season as good a go as KB could ever dream of

Lets put our positive foot forward and not stagnate is the other view. However, what you said Alco - could well be the best way. We will see.

And two minutes from a new manager being appointed before someone starts saying how rubbish they are and how we'll never achieve anything with them in charge.

You all make me larf.

going to say... what are the signs of us gelling? a 90th minute scraped draw saturday or the last three defeats????

And I must add, nothing in my post was about us looking like we're about to gel, as alluded to by Pittsburg. We look like we about to fall off a cliff. I'd just rather Blackwell soak up all the unavoidable negativity that will come over the next few months.

We can sell season tickets on the back of a new manager, a new era, untainted by the horrors of this season - when even the clappers (yes, I was one) had their bubbles burst.

And a big thank you to Kevin Blackwell on his Blackberry

You can loan Blackberries now?? Where??

 very good. Made me chuckle.

My biggest concern is where the next win is going to come from. Some might think Saturday is a home banker but trust me – it won’t be! I lived in Bristol for two years and went to watch City a few times with work friends. They don’t lay down for anyone and love to rattle the bigger clubs. They will come and scrap Saturday and if we don’t raise our performance level they will send us away disappointed as well.....
They have also been on a similar run to Preston. So the signs are all good!

I'm now officially off the fence. 4 points from 15 for a club supposedley chasing play-offs is not good enough. The last straw for me was having our two most dangerous attacking players on the bench again. Ward and Camara.

I said I'd give Blackwell time but he's had enough. He's out of ideas and hoofball just appears as lazyness. There's no thought into how we are going to play just hoof it to Cresswell or Henderson depending who's starting.

I keep considering when to come and watch the boys. I can't really afford to but I want to. However, I feel bored with how things are going and I really don't feel like travelling up, paying out money I haven't really got to watch hoofball tactics.

I'm bored of blackwells tactics, excuses and continued disappointment. Sorry kevin, you steadied the ship, now please jump overboard and let someone come in who can get the squad playig to it's proper potential. Blackwell out

Yeates , Camera , Creswell , Ward ......... plenty of width and two in form players in the box !

Williamson and Harper in the middle , chuck the defence in the air and play them as they come down ........... ball on the floor and jobs a good un :)

Whats so hard about it , everyone can see it apart from one man ... get him out of here !

His persistance in playing Quinn week after week after week will ultimately cost him his job and us a place in the play offs.
Midfielders are supposed to be comfortable on the ball. Quinn must think it is some sort of explosive device.
I didn't go tonight but talking to a few that did, they all said that we started to play when Quinn was subbed.
Too late by then as usual.
