Lets start with the bad points. He cost us the game today. Big clanger.

However, he is a legend at this club already so i'm sure he can bounce back.

Even pulled off a worldie from Salah straight after.

Gutted for him and he will be gutted the most.

Wilder will pick him and us up after that.

So unfortunate to lose. Should have had a draw at the very least.

UTB.

I'm a critic.... I hate to say it because he seems a good lad and is capable of some crackign saves, but he has too many mistakes in him at this level at the moment.

He'll probably be great when he's in his mid-late 20s. But for now, he makes too many errors.

I'd be disappointed if we loaned him out again for next season. I'd rather us get a more experienced, safer pair of hands.

Really?

What football have you been watching?

Cant agree mate, he's a top keeper. All keepers make errors.

Top top drawer in so many areas, one of the best shot stoppers even in this division. Look at that one on one stop against Salah - incredible stop.

But for me one too many errors. Since the end of last season he’s made 3 big cock ups that have cost the team. One for England in the U21’s that was similar to today, a fumble at Chelsea and obviously the worst of the lot today.

We have no replacement for him that is of his level, we have to stick behind him and get him through this patch. It’s up to him to come through this and learn to get his body behind the ball.

With De Gea signing his new contract it’s clear they have no plans to make him the number 1. It’s down to Henderson to decide what he wants. He’s coming to a crossroads now and this season will define him. Needs to pick his head up.

In fairness Robinson should've got his shot on target.

You could argue that Salah save made up for it in that I felt like they were always going to get 1 goal, wish it'd been a moment of world class brilliance though and not a dropped bollock.

Anyway, did ourselves proud, and maybe it'll be like Leeds last season, GK error 1-0 loss at home, and then do them at Anfield.

Also don't like the phrase "should have drawn/won" in football. We shouldn't have drawn because we didn't. If we should have, we would have.

Disagree.

For example; if we'd missed 2 penalties- you'd be well within your rights to say "we should have one"

Whether you deserve to win is a different question.

He’ll win us more points than he costs us over 38 games , very very good keeper ,chin up son , we win and lose as team

IMO the result you get is the result you should get and deserve to get, because that is the result you get.

However we did play very well today.

never understood what that means 'natural finisher'? He is a pro footballer, he should be able to kick the ball straight at the goal from 18 yrs

I wasn't defending him, I was criticising him. Saying his finishing is poor. As in finshing is something he's bad at.

Howler for the free kick at home to stoke, cost us the home game against Leeds and cost us 2 goals against Villa.

7 games in and he’s already made 2 big errors, not saying we should drop him but he’s certainly not undroppable.

Can make some incredible saves but overall he’s certainly no Alan Kelly and we didn’t see this amount of unforced errors from Paddy Kenny when we went up.

It took a slight deflection on the way through and I think that played a part too on his positioning. Granted, we're talking centimetres but that can make a difference to a shot hit with the pace that one had.

He'll save us more points than he'll cost us. What we can't afford is to keep missing our chances at the other end, and need a couple of our strikers to start finding some form / consistency.

I'm harsh, but I still maintain he should have kept Tammy's 2nd out too.

In my book, unless it's a screamer, if a keeper gets a hand to it, it should be kept out. Tammy's shot was far from a screamer. Hendo should have saved it.

If hes bad at it he should practise lots to get better. Being naturally good or not has nowt to do with it.
