You could have just ignored her. Like those charity muggers who come up saying ‘have you got a minute’. Sometimes I can be bothered to say ‘no’ sometimes I just blank them.I remember finding a bank card on the way home from a match once so put some posts on Facebook pages to try and find the owner.
One bitch really started on me.
"Why don't you take it to his bank?"
Well the nearest one is in the centre of town and it's closed now until Monday and I'm pissed and I don't see why I should put myself out.
"Why don't you phone them telling them its lost?"
Because then they'll tell me to destroy it and he won't have a bank card for 5 days. I thought I'd give him chance to claim it first.
"He might not be on Facebook"
Well, someone who knows him might see my post and tell him
"Anyone could see your post and pretend they're him when they pick up"
Oh really? Never thought of that. Maybe I ought to ask for ID then?
Bitch please, trying to help a brother out here
Couldn’t you just keep getting your mates to go in with your lost card? The Banks could reward people for handing them in , but hold on , that would eat into the profits they make , from those who are useless with money.![]()

Could've ignored her but enjoyed making her look a twatYou could have just ignored her. Like those charity muggers who come up saying ‘have you got a minute’. Sometimes I can be bothered to say ‘no’ sometimes I just blank them.
I found a card in the local park and her name was a bit unusual so I was able to find her on FB (I was on it for a while, not now) and message her. She was a bit nervous I think (don’t blame her, I could have been anyone) so I ended up leaving it behind the counter at the cafe in the park for her to pick up. She messaged me ‘thanks’ but tbh, didn’t seem massively grateful considering the effort I’d made to find her, contact her and drop the card off.
Doesn't work, they actually lose money on lost/stolen cards. Rather than have people hand them in, or hold onto them until the customer gets in touch, they'd rather you cut them up and send a new one out at a significant cost. The Banks could reward people for handing them in , but hold on , that would eat into the profits they make , from those who are useless with money.![]()

Oh good, well done, I knew you’d come to your senses eventually. And well done for being big enough to admit it on here![]()
