Page 13 of the accounts says 'Kyle Walker has returned to Bramall Lane for a further season on loan'.
Company ones, come out every year.
Fair enough, didn't think we had the ones that included Ched's deal. Got a link ?
Remarkable. How many clean sheets is it in recent home matches?
This has all been achieved with our right back playing poorly, being defensively naive etc?
Spurs need to recall him because he's been playing poorly and isn't progressing?
Ferk me, calling occupants of interplanetary craft.
"Largely, I think that recent clean sheets have come despite of, rather than because of, Walker's defensive contribution - notwithstanding his pace."
Thank God Harry's noticed and we can get a decent right back in instead.
Kyle gets proper coaching, we get a better replacement, everyone's a winner.
The clean sheets are down to other players making up for Walker?
Hey Len, Just remind me again of the last league goal we conceeded at home and how it came about?
Hey up Kyle Walker is at Watford. Reports Paul Walker.
Well he's not playing, Geary in for him.
Evans, Yeates, Williamson and Camara can't get a start![]()
Typical United. Agree a non-beneficial deal for ourselves. If we had any sense we would not have agreed a recall clause which is obviously what was in the deal. That was clearly all bollocks about having first option on loan players as well - NOTHING CHANGES!
Shouldnt have sold Walker in the first place. The sensible thing would have been to cash in on Naughton and keep Walker but no......apparently we had no choice......there is always a choice!
We were offered £4M (McCabe's quote) for a player who'd played 5 games of competitive football. We're in a lot of debt. It was a good deal. We didn't agree a non beneficial deal, we agreed one that sees £4M entering our bank account. We managed to loan him straight back. I doubt we were in a position to then demand further terms.
I just wish the club would spell out the financial situation is simple terms (rather than referring to club and PLC debt separately) and then we can all see these deals in context. We cannot afford to not sell players. That's the harsh truth.

Slag Spurs all you like. They've done nothing wrong at all. Walker's their player and they can do with him whatever they see fit.
McCabe and Blackwell knew the score when they allowed him to leave.
Yes, he's a damn good player, but, he's gone, get over it.
Del boy won't let us down.

You suggested that we (SUFC) would have been fully aware that they intended to release Hutton and recall Walker following discussions about Kyle N. Quite clearly b0ll0x.
Take out 'Blackwell allowed him to leave' and you would have got a big shiny 'Thank User' from me.
All I've seen Walker do for most of the season so far is hoof the ball long as soon as he gets it.You can't be serious?
So back to how much we may or may not miss him?
Am I the only one that thinks Walker has been crap for most of the season?
He's had a few good games but mostly he's been no better than anyone else. At least now we can get the ball down and play football without worrying about Walker hoofing it the full length of the pitch as soon as he gets it.
Page 62 of the accounts (post balance sheet events) says during the TW, the club purchased players for a total consideration of £3.045m and sold players for £8.6m..
That to me say we are committed to pay £3.045 (excluding Taylor) in fees. ie - appearance related fees is not included. No doubt others will read it other ways but I think we owe City at least £2.5m irrespective of appearances.
