cant remember where i saw it, but a news article confirmed that we were getting a few modelled faces

The vast majority of the squad will have had them, also CW.

The 'media day' video showed them scanning the players faces. They will be in the game. They always have for PL players.

Danny Lafferty had a proper face when we were in league 1 as he came from Burnley at the time.

They tend to release scanned faces of promoted teams in a November update so the default game when you get it out of the box won't have any new scanned faces unless they have played 1st team in the premier league before (e.g. Robinson and Jagielka).

They do the same thing every year.

They have got full facial players now, Uniteds youtube channel showed them getting it done. It's not full release yet they haven't added our new kits either!
 
Also wanted to add that loads of scanned faces in the version of the game at initial release also tend to be really old so they sometimes look nothing like the player. Danny Lafferty's last scan for instance would have been in 2012 when he was at Burnley.

Best example I saw of this was David Edgar. He had his face scanned way back while he was also at Burnley (think that was 2010?) that he still had while he was with us. This was his "scanned" face:

We are in the wrong kit and attacking the wrong end in the first half and I can’t see the fat family on the Kop.

However I do like the netting under the Bramall Lane upper tier.
 
The BL scoreboard also weirdly had ManU first, I.e. as the home team
 
The ground looks lovely in the game, it will be annoying if we have to kick off to the kop every game but that's not end of the world, and they will insert the scanned faces of most the players faces in the game at a later date, I do hope we get them in at the start and not needing to wait for a patch.
If they don't put in the face scans in day one, a little tip is to not start a career mode until they do as they don't update save files with them, or at least they didn't last years game.
They will have the new kit for sure, they just put last seasons into the demo.

Cool your jets people. The game will launch with the latest kits and player faces.

Our squad didn't waste a day in front of the camera for nowt.
