Is McGoldrick an option for emergency keeper, seeing as though he is 'David James'

I see ‘deserves a game’ is alive and well amongst the Sunday League thinkers.
Wilder could have named himself in the 25, deserves a run out.
Glad for the lad. Hope he gets a game, deserves it.
Bit of a bummer that January transfer window if you can’t innit? What’s good about that
Slightly off topic, I assume you can change the squad in January ?
Twas always likely to be thus.
If he was that good, he’d have been snapped up, regardless of wages.
That said, if Wilders blind spot for the lad was to again resurface ...........
Proof positive he ain’t the messiah ..........

That makes a lot more sense. I'll just laugh at the 'Everton' bit of his name then. It’s Zac I believe
I'd dispute several parts of this statement:I think summer last year in response to the Chedmaniacs declaring Evans should get some increased game-time for us in the new season, I said that if he did something will have gone very badly wrong with our season.
Dead harsh fella.Sorry but Leon is not good enough for the Premier League. He’s done nothing to deserve a chance. & if he wasnt so greedy he would be playing elsewhere now.

It’s the same now in relation to Clarke. For him to play means at least 4 of McGoldrick, Robinson, McBurnie, Mousset and Sharp all being injured or suspended at the same time.
This is quite simply a case of Leon being on the books, we are contractually obliged to pay him and we a squad place available.Since he's still here only sensible to give him the last number , wouldn't surprise me if he got the odd game from the bench he's a real handful and an un known quantity to premiership defences.
Clarke would love to score a goal at this level ,Wilder knows he could offer something , shrewd move in my opinion.
Fair point about the wages, but I think we were a tad silly giving him the new contract in January 2018. He’s done nowt since he signed that.Dead harsh fella.
Contracts are there for a reason.
Anybody saying they would walk away from a high wage that they are entitled to probably lies about other things too.
Contracts work both ways. You can't blame him if he hasn't had an acceptable offer elsewhere.Sorry but Leon is not good enough for the Premier League. He’s done nothing to deserve a chance. & if he wasnt so greedy he would be playing elsewhere now.

There's a difference between acceptable and realistic. I love Leon for what he has done but his recent "showings" for us have been very poor let's hope some leaf has been turned in regards to his performances in training.Contracts work both ways. Makes me chuckle the amount on here that expect players to 'walk away' from contracts they've been offered. So if you was getting paid £20k pw for doing nothing, guaranteed for another year, you'd give it up so you could relocate to Wigan or somewhere equally shitty for a fraction of that? Yeah sure you would. Regarding his performance, that went south a long time ago and old father time will ensure that ain't going to change any time now or in the future. The club should do the decent thing and pay him off if he's not going to feature again; putting him in the squad like that is just a facade.
Agree with the paying off of his contract as we have with others. But i dont understand some of the sympathy on here especially after Wilder himself has told these transfer listed players to find themselves new clubs and that they are currently dragging their heels. No matter how old or how much they are getting payed or how much they have done for the club when the manager tells you he wants you to leave they should leave. So if you was getting paid £20k pw for doing nothing, guaranteed for another year, you'd give it up so you could relocate to Wigan or somewhere equally shitty for a fraction of that?
