A bit of a dramatic title I know but I can’t help but chuckle at some of the pundit predictions. I know the predictions, all in all, mean absolutely nothing but in some way it is a reflection on the club (to some sky/media abiding neutrals amongst others). The difference in predictions, albeit 2 men (Prutton and Nichols) astounds me. Obviously we have stepped up a league and expectedly, the competition is fiercer, however so far I feel the hype train which is the PL is not all that it’s cracked up to be. We’ve given all teams so far a run for their money and made it hard to decipher which is the recently promoted team (I know it’s early doors right now but other promoted teams add to the sample size). So far I don’t think Nichols has given us a single point via his predictions, where as last year Prutton, may I say rather generously predicted 110 points. To be fair, I’m not entirely sure what my point is about this (but I hope somehow you get it), I think I’m trying to get at the fact that suddenly upon promotion we’ve gone from hero, to relative zero in the eyes of media outlets (Again, I know this is Chelsea we’re now up against who are by no means a simple task and this particular prediction may be slightly justified), which is a point I think I’m relitavely late to the party on 👀 anyway I’m blabbing on a bit now (since the end of the first sentence) but anyway... there you go.67E7B993-55E9-46AF-A2B6-C26C8EAFC781.png

Yeah I get ya. I think the gap between Championship and Prem is narrowing so for pundits to say we would storm Championship last season to barely get any points and struggle every match this season is laughable.

I said it last year and just because we're now in the Prem I won't change my mind, the bottom 6 of the Prem are very similar in standard to the top 6 of the Championship (but at this point in the season we don't know who these clubs are!)

I read Nicholas's comments earlier and I'm still trying to decipher what he means by "ready to say its about being dogged not just having energy". Wtf
I think it goes back to Wilders comments about not just giving 100% effort but also cutting out silly mistakes and frustrating teams.
