BULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLSHIT.

I know people who bought tickets Friday and Saturday, without any issue and without any loyalty points (glory seeking twats that they are)

Keep digging. Someone already said, find a new stick to beat the club with, this one isnt functioning correctly.
If someone who was a part-time enthusiast enquired 1 or 2 weeks before the game and were told in no uncertain terms "you need to be a member and have 500 pts" - what are they meant to do; check back every single day in case the ticket office have changed their minds?

Didn’t sell out Sunday, wont sell out Saturday, why can’t a blade with less than 500 points not buy a ticket?

They don't deserve one
Every fan deserves the chance to at least try for a ticket, how are we going to attract "new fans", I noticed someone saying abut lower attendances like 19k upwards, some on here can remember 6 & 7k league game attendances. You will always get fans that will pick their games it's nature of the beast, but please don't slag fans off just for wanting to go now and then they may have genuine reasons. I am lost as to why we don't deserve to attract new fans, I would say at least 10 of the current PL would kill for our support.

I didn't say the club don't deserve new fand
I said people who haven't been don't deserve the right to be able to buy a ticket whenever they want

If there are 30 thousand blades who have built up enough loyalty points to get one before them then why should they miss out ?

I'm not slagging anyone off ,I've only got 600 points myself and I only got them last week
I certainly wouldn't expect a ticket over someone who has been attending regularly over the last ten years

..which no-one has said.
If there's tickets left when we're getting down to the 500pt mark, put them on General Sale.

It won’t sell out again so why can’t blades with points on the database not be able to buy a ticket?

Not saying you are Eddie it's true lot's have attended regularly but, you should have chance to try mate, since I've not been able to go I have never applied for tickets for high profile games like I said some do. That's football it opens the woodwork I remember when just ST holders just got preference, it's hard for United as well finding the right balance.

Tickets are too expensive and too difficult to buy.
Season ticket holders also ought to be able to buy another ticket.

It was higher figure and membership card until yesterday. From yesterday it was anyone above 500 pts. Perhaps it may be worth waiting until later in the week to see how many are left then.

The top and bottom of it is, football is no longer the "working man's game" as it once was it's exploded since PL formed just annoys me that some folk think footy only started in 92.

So if every season ticket holders gets an additional ticket someone with more points than the second recipient could lose out to some PL tourist. Ooookay.

You need to think your strategy out a bit more thoroughly. You're making yourself look daft.

Sorry dafter.

Yeah, who can work out how to ring up, or go online and order one. It's just stupid.
Good idea, if we let all the season ticket holders buy another ticket, we'd have nearly 60,000 per home match. We'd be the biggest club in England.

Thanks for your help. Just been to the Lane to purchase tickets.
If anyone else was confused with what's on the official site, you need 500 points but you don't have to fork out for a membership.
BL Upper tier 1 is usually the last to be bought, but is completely sold out for Saturday.
Not sold out Eddie, They only make available when other BLUT is filling up, so virtually none sold in that area, same as gangway A kop and bottom of south stand and behind pillars on kop

We didn't sell out last week and have plenty of tickets left this week.
Can't see a problem with season ticket holders being able to buy another ticket towards the end of the sale period and why that relatively minor privilege shouldn't be available to them.
Could even limit it to those who have a previous buying record.

What benefit would that be though? Because whoever they're buying a ticket for isn't going to be anywhere near them.

That can't be right as someone earlier suggested we'd have 60,000 tickets sold per match.
Seriously though, yes, it would be a minor privilege and unlikely to result in a mad rush but when we're struggling to shift tickets it's a potential option.
Either way we ought to be looking at why we're not selling out games and if there are options that would help shift a few more tickets.

They don’t need their hand holding just because they’ve had a ticket bought them, I’m sure they can enjoy the experience of the lane without the need of mollycoddling?

I think ST holders should be able to buy another ticket once it gets to general sale, you’ll be surprised at how many and how quickly we’ll shift them then.

Once we’ve sold to everyone who has points I basically don’t give a shit who gets the remaining tickets as long as we fill the lane, it’s a joyous sight.

I'd agree, make sure they go in a sensible sequence, so people who genuinely have been going previously get first option. Tickets to ST holders to pass on after that, so they can go to supporters from a known source. Only problem with unrestricted general sale is ending up with 1000 west ham fans in the blut if they've sold out their allocation.
Guard against that and get the sequencing right, everybody is happy (or they'll whinge about something else at least........)
