Hamburg are to trial allowing fans to use pyrotechnics legally at a game for the first time this weekend.www.bbc.com
I know in the Irish league they have buckets of sand at the front of the stand. Once you're done with it just take it down and drop it in the bucket. Everyone knows what to do and it's monitored.
Whether it's safe or not is a different matter. The disposal is though.
Love a bit of pyro mi sen.
Any working man who has a problem with H&S should speak to his older workmates who were around pre-H&S days. Industrial accidents were commonplace, people got maimed and died so that rich people could increase their profit margins. This country is health & safety insane plus the fact alot our fans are idiots(English fans). If you look at Germany you can drink, stand and they are even trialling pyro over there. But they are allowed to do it because they're not idiots, imagine if we could drink in the stands how much trouble there would be over the country on matchdays. Blame ourselves.

Currently you can drink in the concourses but not in the seats.
I don't think there'd be more trouble if we were allowed to take our drinks to our seats. Just more plastic cups.

I think I've seen you at games, with coloured sparklers in a gloved hand.![]()
Tbh, stick a gram of chas up my nose and I’ll drink petrol. If someone is going to get pissed, they're going to get pissed regardless of what you do. For the rest of us, what works better - needing to neck everything in the pub beforehand and/or turboing one at half time to avoid missing any of the game, or having a casual one or two before entering the ground then catching up to what you'd normally have during the game?
