Just took junior down to the Lane with me this morning to collect my match ticket for Bolton. Got out of the car and took him in to the ticket office with me for 5 minutes whilst I got my ticket.
He did the biggest smile in the world and talked some baby gibberish and looked really happy, but on the drive home he started groaning and crying going along Penistone Road, appropriately enough reaching a small crescendo going past the rust bucket.
Think at seven and a half months he must now know what's what regarding football teams.
Does anyone think I would be able to take him to the Derby County match in a couple of weeks. Missus is away on a hen weekend and it's either match with me or afternoon with babysitter. On the plus side he is quite a placid baby and will be fully fed and changed before the match, but on the negative it might be a bit loud and noisy for him at this tender age. What does anyone else think?
The last thing I would want is for him to be upset and scared though
