'Sheffield Wednesday are interested in Bristol City winger Callum O’Dowda. #swfc #BristolCityFC #DeadlineDay'

I thought he was highly rated and how are pigs getting to spend money? Theyve only let one player go and ffp?

Hearing Spurs defender Cameron Carter Vickers is heading to Stoke City. Fee about £6m pounds. Lots of interest from Championship clubs.

That means Jake Wright is worth a few quid now then.

Because they've made a "profit" this year and FFP is a joke.

Scott Carson to Man Citeh. FFS where are we?

Nearly as bizarre as Lee Grant to Man Utd last season. Understand the reasons of course but imagine if your agent calls you up as a past it goalkeeper and says "Man City are on the phone, they want to sign you". You'd put the phone down and check it wasn't April 1st.

You look at FFP and see such clubs as Villa, Derby, City, Wolves all flaunting it and getting away with it, it was us we'd be nailed to the ceiling.

Sold the rust bucket (to themselves) and generated fake profit. Derby, Villa, Leeds all the same.
But FFP is over 3 seasons, last seasons minimal profit for Wednesday doesn’t open them up to losses again this. If they go for it again then they’re fucked at the end of the year if they don’t go up as there will be no assets to flog.

Danny Loader gone from Reading to Wolves. Interesting one.

There losses last year would have been close to the 3ry limit on it's own. By selling it, it's effectively given them a "free" year. All the other costs remain in place, for now. (Although Joao will have generated a profit.

Could be a good one for Wolves that, for the future anyway. Reading seem to have gone bananas in the last few days, spent £7m (or thereabouts) on Joao, George Puscas from Inter for £7.5m, someone called Pele from Monaco, and now Kenedy joining on loan from Chelsea. They went into the summer trying to offload players because they were still paying big wages after some their previous owners went nuts.

So their squad now has Pele, Puscas and Moore...

Badou Ndiaye. CM. Stoke. Linked. Looks serious. Bit online. Stoke paper.

Think we might be signing 2 midfielders today.

Chambers and Ndiaye maybe.

Wouldn't even rule out Holgate and M.Phillips.

What an unreasonably good transfer window....

I knew Marc McNulty would go on to better things after leaving the Blades...now playing with those three legends of the game

FFP is a different beast in the Premier League to the FL. You can make a loss of up to £105 million per year (!!) as long as it's underwritten by the board.

The Champions League has harsher FFP penalties than The Premier League!

Surely it effectively gives them an extra year to get the losses down, not an extra year gamble. Unless it’s shit or bust.
