Thanks for the reminder....I managed to listen to the last 10 minutes.
Olli McBurnie came across well....very grounded but a good laugh.
Also liked how Michael Brown talked about us...you could tell he’s still a fan of our club.
Yeah I enjoyed it. It’ll be on the radio app as a pod cast later

It was quite a long feature with full focus on our club.

They are going to talk about our survival chances on Talksport in about 5 minutes.
They’ve discussed Villa, Newcastle, now it’s Burnley and we’re up next.

Danny Mills prediction on Villa was STAYING UP.
Regards Newcastle, again his prediction was STAYING UP.

You can bet the bitter Leeds fans can’t wait to predict we’ll be relegated and his Leeds team should have finished top 2.

That’s you job by the way

There was an hour and a half “Premier League Prediction Show” before the Blades feature. Long drive down to South Wales tonight so I suffered the lot of it. No research, no idea of signings, just simply “Sheffield United will struggle” but “Villa will be fine”. One muppet reckoned Bruce will get Newcastle swashbuckling and flying up the table. Maybe they’ll be right about us but it was lazy cliches. We have been spoilt by podcasts and fan driven content that is really showing up the “professionals” for the hollow, shallow, “big club”, “big manager” lickspittles they really are.

If by an incredibly small chance Ravel did turn out to be a bad egg (he'll not be) then his arse will be kicked right out of that dressing room within a minute - Tufty will not allow it to happen.

He predicted that we will STAY UP, then said “just stay up”
He said “they remind me of a better version of Cardiff but with more options”
‘Think they will be strong at home which should gain them enough points”

Then they’ve spent quite a while talking about Ravel Morrison.
They think he’s a big risk and are asking why Wilder thinks he might can sort him out when loads of other big name managers have failed.
They are also worried that he’ll damage the team spirit in our dressing room and also mentioned that some might say he’s now grown up
But then said they said the same when he was 21...then at 23 said he will have grown up....then at 25...so nothing changes.
They are very surprised that we’ve taken this risk and are confident it won’t work out.

It was Danny Mills and Charlie White in the studio
And they’ve predicted Burnley, Brighton and Norwich for relegation (so that’s a novelty us being predicted to stay up).

Has Ravel ever been an issue in the dressing room? I haven't seen any stories of him having a rift with other players

That’s what I thought.....they tried comparing him to Mario Ballatelli saying some players never change and will always be trouble.
But Ravels issues seem to be time keeping and not putting in the effort failing to turn up for training as though he’s lost interest in playing pro football.

Believe he’s generally well liked and popular amongst his team mates,

Don’t think anyone could disrupt the dressing room even if they tried. The bond and team spirit is so strong it’s intoxicating.
The Wilder and Sharp (100% Blade) influence seems to have rubbed off on all the players, so as a group they really care like a Band of Brothers.

Talk Sport is the Daily Star of Broadcasting.

Owned by idiots

Produced by idiots

Listened to by......

True...but it has more listeners then any other station and is generally entertaining.
They switch between being semi serious and then being on the wind up trying to attract angry callers.

I’ve listened to Radio 5 live and it’s usually so serious, stiff and boring.

I haven't listened to Talksport for about 20 years.
I can remember driving all over the Country and listening to Alan Parry talking bolox and making shit up in the same way Adrian Durham does now. They used to slag us off in them days as well. Alan Parry said Notts County were the Worlds oldest club, somebody corrected him and said it was Sheffield FC, Notts County are just the Worlds oldest League club.

He wouldn't have it and even said there was no such thing as Sheffield FC.
I just switched channels one day (not because of that) but because the whole programme was shit, with it's Jonny come lately Southern Nigel's talking as much bolox as Parry did.

I never felt the urge to switch it back on again.

They used to slag us off in them days too, where it comes from I don't know, it seems that they've picked out a reasonable sized Northern club to crucify, the club had to be of reasonable size because if they picked Halifax or Morecambe it wouldn't have any effect.
Any other club promoted to the Premier League would get some decent comments for what they've achieved, they'd get some good luck messages hoping they'd stay up, but us, no chance, same old patronising bullshit with zero knowledge about us or anything we do.

The only thing worse than them is it's listeners, at least they get paid for being pricks
