That's what Kevin McCabe said when we were promoted to the Premier league, and I think we would all agree that is exactly what he/they have provided.
Arguably for the first time he has delivered fully on his promise, and for that we can thank him very much, as many fans never expected such a level of investment in a thousand years. It almost feels like we are a big club again, not quite on equal terms with the rest of the league, but who knows in a couple of years time? He has given us a fighting chance, and a clear pathway to an exciting future.
Cheers Kev, well done for helping to make us proud and giddy, and keep up the good work.

Over the years McCabe has come in for criticism, some justified but this is a statement of intent to stay up I hope it works and we can build on it. I say consolidate this season, win league next season and season after CL plus we provide 75% of players for WC in Qatar.

We have co-owners the Prince is equally responsible for providing the high level of funding.

It wasn't the Prince who promised it, he was absent as usual, but I did say 'exactly what he/they have provided'.

McCabe can promise the earth but unless the Prince agrees he can cannot deliver. I noted 'exactly what he/they have provided' but you give thanks to McCabe not to the Prince.

Apologies your Highness. Be sure if we had been given a paltry budget, it would have been McCabe getting it in the neck.

Now I know what a healthy budget is, two months ago I was being told by a lot of ITK 'ers that it was £20 million

Can we knock Wilder for saying it would be like Norwich's...they've spent £1.1 million

Accepted:) You maybe right but that is pure conjecture.

I reckon Wilder has provided the club a list of players that’s required to stay up.

He and the owners probably estimated that it would cost the club 25 to 30 million to buy all the targets
But the prices have all gone up and we’re now spending 45 million plus.

It’s testimony to Wilders managerial abilities that the owners trust him so much and are prepared to back him as much as possible.

Perhaps Kev has delivered on his promise in the past but other factors have prevented the success being transferred over to the team...

It was reported in the media that the Norwich board would be fairly cautious and only give Farke 20 million for transfers.

He actually said to BBC Radio Sheffield that he has yet to speak to the owners about his transfer budget
But he’s been planning the possibility of promotion for several weeks, so he’s already given the club a list of his targets
But he knows we won’t get carried away spending massive sums of money and he guessed our budget would be in the same ballpark as what NC had announced they were spending. Think he was just trying to manage expectations so fans don’t get carried away thinking about our guaranteed 110 million Sky tv money
