Have Shoreham Street Magnifique also had their pages shut down?I had a thing I put on Redbubble taken down, it had been there since 2017, think about 3 people had bought one and one of them was me, I only put it up because I wanted some stickers because some Wednesday pillock had stuck Wembley stickers everywhere near my house haha
They send you an email telling you who claimed it, I googled the legal firm and they're the Premier League's lawyers.
It depends what it is I suppose, I understand them protecting things that they might want to sell themselves, like scarves etc, but things like Shoreham Street Magnifique, and the thing of mine they took down, aren't infringing on Premier League copyrights really, unless Sheffield United are now owned by the Premier League.
Thought we got shares in the league not the other way around.
It was similar to this my thing, but it said "The City is Ours"

Yes they would. When I was doing my sports paintings I did a couple of players in England kits. I received a cease and desist letter from Umbro, claiming that I was using their logo without permission. Bearing in mind that the logo was represented on the shirt by nothing more than a brush stroke, I queried why they were being so heavy handed. Their response was that they thought that potential customers of my prints would assume that the use of the logo meant that Umbro had endorsed the product.....waits by the phone.
Be useful to get some advice on this on the off-chance the lawyers come knocking.
We're actually quite careful never to use the logo and make clear we are unofficial. But loads of fanzines of other clubs use photos and images of the players - they're not going to get in a hissyfit about that, surely?

As you've proven, its not Sheffield United that are the problem, its the PL Lawyers and i guess United now have to act (as a 'Shareholder' (or whatever the terminology is) in the Premier League) on behalf of the Premier League Brand. No I don't think so, just using them as an example of an unofficial merch store.
I think they'd be somewhat protected anyway by having their own domain and not being a Facebook store.
And you'd hope, United would give them a pass because they seem to have a decent relationship with the players.
I understand the need to protect the brand of the Top 6 in the Prem, you can find knock off shirts all over the world. But we're Sheffield United, nobody will be knocking up fake Blades shirts anytime soon in Thailand.
I've seen people on FaceAche advertising exactly that.
They are. You can get home, away & third for about £15 each. But we're Sheffield United, nobody will be knocking up fake Blades shirts anytime soon in Thailand.
Seriously! Ha ha Yet they shut down those with a genuine connection to the clubI've seen people on FaceAche advertising exactly that.
We've sold our soul to the devilIt's nothing new.
A few years ago, THE PIGS were going to sue the snooker club that's based near Hillsborough Corner as it had their old 'OWL' Badge in it's logo.
Porktalk's header is that same badge but in reverse.
Not sure about the WAWAW saga, maybe we should get ready for the club to ©UTB in the coming months?
We're now in unchartered territory as Sheffield United.
Unfortunately, you can't have record breaking signings without their legislation.
But, as we've seen with the Football League getting all rufty tufty with Bury, whilst looking the other way at Wednesday, FFLDC etc, the Pissworms who run these things will always go for the little guy who cant fight back.Yup, Alibaba etc is rife with fake SUFC shirts, home and away

Death also, to the Legal professionals who allow said Pissworms to use Laws designed for Corporate protection to bully people that are no real threat.
McCabes been here over 20 years ...................We've sold our soul to the devil
Erm, excuse me for being thick but can anyone point me to where it says the EPL, rather than SUFC, are the ones responsible for this.
Of course it's shit but we all want the filthy lucre don't we?
We 'hate' Sky TV, but want their PL money so have to accept fixtures being pissed around with.
Similarly, the PL's strength is its unity in negotiation with Sky and others. They defend their rights assiduously and if we don't like it, we shouldn't have accepted promotion.
No idea on this one, but don't let it stop you putting the boot into the club again.
