Not making up any stories just my own opinion. Brian Laws made it common knowledge that he thought united had a good organised side under kevin blackwell and now he is the new Burnley manager will killa not be the only player from uniteds side he has a go for? Players like ward and Morgan spring to mind.

Any thoughts on this??

I wonder if he'll come in and take Ryan France off our hands for a few million?

For all we know Ryan France could be a football genius. We'll probably never know...

As such, if he leaves, I'm going think fondly of him and the goals he never scored and the passes he never made...

:)

Yes let's hold that thought for a few minutes.

As for Laws, this probably means Burnley have no transfer budget at all. Every manager in history always goes back to his old club to bring in players he trusts. At least by appointing Bri the Burnley board know he won't be going back from whence he came because all that lurks there is a great steaming pile of shite.

From the outside it doesn't look as though Burnley have spent that much of the Premiership slush fund, if they come back down they will do so with £11M parachute payments for each of the next two years. £11M is probably twice the budget they had to get promoted on. It's certainly more money than Laws got at Wednesday.
