Anyone think John Egan is a serious player for a promotion-seeking Championship team? Deemed surplus to requirements for a mid table Brentford team, nobody else really linked with him other than us for that money.

Really couldn’t care what other managers’ views are on Norwood. They aren’t his current manager, nor were they voted Manager of the Year last season, so I think I’ll prefer to go with Wilder’s judgment on this one.

May not be related to this thread but why is there a clique of people that jump at Norwood any chance they get? So bizarre especially when players of much lesser quality such as Lundstram get unrelenting support sometimes from the same people. Not saying that support for Lundstram Is a bad thing In anyway at all, I just find it a double standard of extremely weird proportions.

I do agree here. Lundstram seems to get rave reviews if he plays a good 30 minutes.

Here we go again! How many frigging times do we have to do this one? Surely there’s nothing to say that hasn’t already been discussed a hundred times before. Yes I agree we need back up but it does my nut in how he’s constantly singled out. Let’s get behind the kid and see how he goes. He’s an unknown at PL level like many of our players, he could struggle but he could also excel. I’m sure not carrying an injury for months will help him.

there are plenty of players in the prem who aren't as good as him so yes he'll be good enough.
