Just on the Oli McBurnie thing.... it really does show the premium you pay for English talent over here.....
Oli McBurnie £17m+
Nabil Fekir £17.8m

😧

Totally! Wolves reportedly in for Patrick Cutrone today for £16m + add ons! Crazy cheap compared to what Swansea want for McBurnie.

Need to look beyond just the transfer fee though - how much with the Fekir (who has previously failed medicals) and Cutrone deals be worth over their overall duration?

But then they would be paying around another ~£15m in wages over 4 years. We'll probably be spending around £6m in wages on McBurnie*

*used £70k and £30k as weekly wage for calculations

Weird though how everybody has heard of and rates Cutrone so highly - don't get me wrong, he's young and is quality but he's scored 13 goals in 63 games for Milan. That's the same record that Mousset has got for Bournemouth.
Milan are a top 6 club in Italy. Bournemouth are mid to lower table in England.

STARTS = 29 (Cutrone), 8 (Mousset)

Fekir had only one year left on his contract, McBurnie wouldn't cost £17m if he only had a year left.

True. I didn’t actually realise that was the case until I read more about his move.

Also as much as I really don’t want Duffy to leave, maybe he could be the perfect makeweight in the McBurnie deal?
