He will either be a good signing or he will be moved on like the rest who haven't hit the mark , eg
Leonard , Holmes . That's one thing about Chris he doesn't surfer fools gladly !

If Wednesday were in our position and paid a club record fee to sign a striker whose goal scoring record is 3 in almost 60 games everyone on here would be laughing their heads off.
They signed a player for a club record who cost a lot more than we’ve paid, and his record was 6 in 24. I personally thought he would be a great signing for them and he went on to get 8 in 49a and refuse to take a vital penalty.
They’ve got nothing to add here and any attempt at piggy piss taking because of this signing should result in a huge belly laugh from any Blade.

Be interesting to see what number he gets? Number 9? Or are we saving it for someone else🧐

The interviewer is Kevin Cookson and would you believe he’s actually the better of the two people used for the internal media videos.

The other guy is truly woeful. He manages to combine mumbling with his broad Yorkshire accent whilst sounding like he’s stood in a wardrobe with the doors closed in the next room. Oh and he also asks shit questions.

It’s probably the only part left of the media side of things that needs sorting.

Presumably as a Johnny Foreigner, he will have his own changing and showering facilities.

Especially a Frenchy - will have all sorts of fancy smelling oils and unguents when he is at his toilet. Can’t have that sort of thing rubbing off on the lads.
Frenchies hide their muneh under the soap.
French attack ? that would be a first.

Bet hes hoping John Kettley is our next signing.

A Bournemouth fan (see Roy's view), has calculated he has only played 1200 minutes in his time there. That is just over 13 full matches worth of game time, and puts into context his goalscoring record to date a little more accurately than 3 goals in 3 years.
If he can force his way into our starting 11 on a regular basis and gets good service I can see this being a bit of a steal rather than a risky punt.
Exactly the crux of any discussion using his record. Add to that these are all mainly appearances coming off the bench into games, and this is for Bournemouth, so it’s unlikely they were bossing games and going for the throat.
He’s clearly failed at beating King and Wilson to a starting berth and that’s the only legitimate criticism that can be levelled at him from his record there.

The Exodus of the big money signings at the Wendy's will soon start, bullen is aggricultural in his management style, sleeves rolled up and get grafting, jaou has already said he wants out and the rest will follow shortly after, they believed the bollox that Carlos had a wet dream and they thought they'd be in the top division by now..

They normally raise their game when we go up but I can't see it now Bruce has just shit all over the pre season for them, hopefully the dressing room mafia will tell bullen when they're training (like they did with Carlos and Blakey) and basically not play for him if he tries to manage them..

Not being cunty, but I can see them going down.. I didn't think that a few weeks ago because managers are key these days.. as we know all too well..

His career to date in the Premier League has been an abject failure. 3 goals in 3 seasons. Do you disagree with this?
If he was an abject failure do you really think Wilder would be willing to spend 10m of his budget on him? Really? 3 goals in 3 seasons doesn’t really tell the whole story does it. 1200 minutes is equivalent of 13 or so matches but bearing in mind he was expected to make instant impacts off the bench and never got a decent run in the team (behind Josh King and Callum Wilson) your streamlined facts don’t really stand up. I’m more like CW and prefer to look at the bigger picture. Let’s give the lad a chance before we chuck him under the bus eh?

Don't normally listen to the interviews as they all say the same thing when they sign but did listen to this one and the interviewer was terrible. Seemed like he was anxious about interviewing a foreigner and proceeded to answer all the questions himself before putting them to the Moose who could do little but agree.

I'm not sure that's fair, people are entitled to scrutinise what would be our record signing, and Daz has provided a very strong counter-argument to his apparently poor scoring record. It's the job of a fanbase to support but also to push, cajole and apply positive pressure. It's part of how a club progresses and I'm sure Wilder wouldn't have it any other way. Sycophancy is the preserve of our be-trottered friends to the North.
Bit of difference between scrutinising and talking utter bollocks though !

Is Lys Mousset the alternative to McBurnie as Swansea have turned down a £15 million offer?
I am still hoping we do sign McBurnie but he’s probably not worth more than that figure really.

I really hope not, would really like OM, although I would find it hard to tell him and Flecky apart

Fucking great point chap. My mincers are 59 and I do struggle a bit. For those saying different names on back of shirts I say what names?
Where'd he go musky 😉

My missus would struggle to tell the difference between Simon Moore and Captain Blade from the back of the kop

He has played a grand total of 1190 minutes in the Prem. That’s about 12 full games. In which he’s scored 3 goals.

3 in 12 isn’t bad for a young lad in any way shape or form. Especially considering he’s usually brought on as a sub late in games.
