I'm sure David Sommeil was our 1st bit of business that pre-season? Didn't the legend that was Li-Tie come around then as well? Whilst you have to credit Warnock for getting us promoted, he really didn't recruit well in either window that season. Only Hulse really worked out and when he broke his leg we were fucked.

Yes, we actually signed 4 prior to ol Legs o'wood before new contracts came into play 1st July;

Back then, I was really good mates with Paul Walker. I was 'ITK' and broke the news of the Legsofwood signing on BM the day before it happened. I don't think PW is Richard Cadette, but back then, Warnock told PW everything. I got to know most of the goings on.
