Pigs in meltdown, Star has to try to make them feel better, courtesy of Darren "Berk" Burke, who usually reports on missing drain covers and wheelie bin fires.
He probably wrote the article a couple of weeks ago about a woman finding someone else’s dirty knickers in her wheelie bin.

Yesterday he put out a story about Sara Cox filming in Sheffield, but that the location was not known, as if it was some kind of top secret project.

I'm no investigative journalist (I don't have the time), but I could have told him exactly where, what they've done to the main location, when they film and how to get involved if you fancy a bit of work as an extra. Surely if you are making news of something, even if using Twitter as a source of easy, work free content, you'd spend ten minutes doing a little bit of research. He could have asked her, her agent (assuming she has one), looked at her last TV roles and contacted the producers of the programmes, checked social media chatter within Sheffield... But all of that is a little bit more intensive than copying and pasting a link to a tweet.

If he fancied getting someone out for half an hour, they could even speak to her or sneak a look at her clipboard, alternatively, just ask someone on Facebook if he can borrow a few snaps.

Then again, at least that lazy article did have a little bit of local interest, albeit, with all the massive content that she'd used #sheffield in a tweet.

To be fair to em, it's got a lot of attention, so job done from their perspective.
It was that ridiculous I didn’t even bother clicking on it.

Can’t see it turning around their fortunes.

Ah yes, quoting an article by Free Super Tips - a known Twitter affiliate scammer spammer.

This really is a new low for The Star.

Well it's job done on people saying the author is a gormless hack who clearly doesn't understand the phrase "quality journalism".

The Star have hit rock bottom in the content they ‘produce’ now, surely?

Surely any self-respecting journalist would cringe at having to go with something like this?

Thankfully we didn't finish 20th, result.

By definition then all sheffielders are considered ugly

I am an ugly twat btw, so I'm not insulted too much.

I personally apologise boys for bringing the level down for everybody else.:p

Wow, what an amazing coincidence that the sexiest fans are from the clubs with the biggest er fan base. It's almost as if they just voted for themselves. FFS  UTB

what the fucking fuck?
Who, would publish such rubbish? Oh.

The Star, the newspaper where when you wipe your arse on it, more shit comes off than goes on it.
I think that was part of Burke’s shitty knickers in a dustbin story.
