So where are we on this? What is going to take until mid week in RCs eyes in regards to Maupay?

I'm looking forward to getting an answer asap because I want to know if Mcburnie is a plan B or a partner for him. If what Cadette says is right (with Henderson and Osborne as well) then this week could be huge!

Too much to expect one or two in for the Burton trip? I would hope Henderson could be one in the next day, hopefully Osborn too. Can’t imagine any striker will be in for that one though...
 


Finally, a midfield link and an unsurprising indicator as to what type we're looking at.

He's a tall, mobile defensive midfielder with decent ability on the ball.

As if we are gonna sign a centre mid for that much when we need another forward far more!
 
Well...one of the days Blade789 hung his hat on as the day Maupay would be unveiled has come and passed. Though I am 2 hours ahead so I may be wrong today yet.
No update from RC today on the matter either.
Not looking good is it?
 

Cadette said he expected a decision later this week. Someone else reckoned that maybe blade789 had correctly been informed a deal had been agreed, but the info was missing that deals with other teams were pretty much agreed in principle too.

Either way, it's not really looking good or bad. It definitely feels to me like this is going to be a slow week though.

The last comments from both were

Last Thursday Blade789 confidently announced “done deal`’, all agreed but no contract signed yet but he said it’s academic and won’t be any problems.
He was very confident that Maupay would be announced as a signing either `Monday or Tuesday next week (that’s today or tomorrow)l

On Friday RC also announced deal now agreed with all parties but there could be a big snag because other PL clubs are showing serious interest
And they now want a few days to consider their options. RC expects a decision to be made regards Maupays preferred destination at the end of this week.

Posted this but didn’t notice that Londonblade has already explained the situation above.

If we had agreed terms with the player, the club, the agent, etc,. last week, then the fact that there's been no response suggests that there are other deals that are on the table for him. It would be nice to think he's weighing all these up and will choose United - but if he was 100% wanting to come here I think we would have known before now - on agreeing the terms of the deal last week. I don't think we'll offer better terms than say, West Ham or Palace for that matter, and given their location and the fact they are more established Prem clubs than us, I think this one is slipping away. Pity, because I do like the player and think he would be good for us. But hey-ho! You win some, you lose some.
 
Isn’t Maupay back today for training ?? I guess he surely has to have made his choice and let’s them know today
 
I get as excited for a RC post as the rest of you but what's to say?

Mcburnie wont be announced until will meet Swansea's valuation & we only got knocked back yesterday.

Maupay's decision should be imminent but it's going to be a final yes or no really.

And, Deano looks like he's going away with Man U. Along with their other FOUR keepers, so although I haven't given up hope I doubt that will be any closer than he last described.

He could have updates on Osborn I suppose but I suspect he's giving it a day or 2 to break the Maupay news to us earlier than Nixon.
 
Hearing that McBurnie will be a Blade soon and that Maupay will be going to Villa.
