I would love to eat a massive dose of humble pie and them actually get on we things instead of fannying about all the time.

Have you considered that saving a couple of million, or even half a million, on each transaction due to 'fannying about', may mean we're able to buy extra players for other positions?

Or we could just agree to whatever obscene prices the clubs desire and have emptied our funds after 3 additions, and be left with a huge hole in our squad.

Its the exploitation league so the consequence of fannying about may well be intended by others as its less time for the new players to gel in our "unique" style. E.g Villa/Norwich putting speculative bids in to delay and damage our budget. If new players are slow to integrate and we get zilch from the 1st 2 games then pressure will escalate for the rest of august. Everyday the "business" deals the "businessmen" delay and faff about the 5% fees, can result in a siege mentality before we kick a ball.

so if Freeman was 6m, and 8m for Robinson we are already at 14m just in fees
